Passion.
ever since I was little, my parents instilled the idea of passion. My mother used to always say "Do everything with passion or not at all." Well, here I am, a nine year old washing dishes, thinking to myself, "how can I do the dishes with passion?" and she would tell me to put my heart into it.
As I've grown older, my eyes have opened to the idea. If you're going to do something put everything that you have into doing that task. If I wasn't going to wash those dishes until they were spotless, no one would want to eat off of them, and then I'd have to wash them again. Knowing this, I've spent the past couple of years trying to find passion in various things. For a while, it was volleyball, then writing, then singing. None of these seemed to click. All along, my passion has been right in front of my eyes.
It's something I do every day. Something I have to base every decision I make off of. As silly as it sounds, it's my diet. I work out a couple of times a day, eat very healthy, and apply this to every aspect of my life. Sometimes, I have to choose if I want to go out with my friends, or work out. Choose if I want to eat ice cream or salad. It's something that I stick to. I dedicate a lot of my time to. I know so much about nutrition it's ridiculous. Maybe it's silly, or pointless, but it's something that keeps me going, and it's nice to know that I have something to turn to.
If I had the body to rock a crop top my whole closet would be full of them, but since I don't...T-SHIRT ALLLDAYERRDAY
