Mahabharata + Text Posts - Part 2.3: The Depressingly Unfinished Version Because StarPlus Took Down the Videos Before I Could Get Caps
When the store staff tell you or announce over their PA system that they are closing soon, that doesn't mean wait until after they say they're closed until you come to the checkout. That means get your ass in gear. Personally I work two jobs and once I stayed around at my retail job an extra 30 minutes because a customer waited until I called out that we were closed, we were closing the doors, etc about 5 times before asking the other lady to cut fabric for her. Like a LOT. And I ended up having to leave the other lady because I had to get to my other job. And guess what? A lot of retail stores don't pay overtime. They expect you to be completely done at 5:30pm. If I stay until 6:30 I still only get paid til 5:30 no matter the reason (unless I have been rostered to work late for some reason). I have a friend who works in a department store who told me that after they've done all the announcements, closed the doors, done the tils and turned off the lights, they still get customers coming to the counter expecting to be able to purchase their trolley load of items. Don't be that person.
