I am an adult who makes good lifestyle choices.

i’ve been using a pheromosa (that i got over wonder trade, of all things--i’m saving the ub quest b/c i want to stretch out my story experience as long as possible) as my false swiper, but it’s p fragile, so i’d like to switch it out at some point.  what other pkmn are ppl using for chaining?  i’ve heard smeargle and absol, tho smeargle seems too weak, while absol shares the fragility issue if yr trying to chain pkmn that only appear at higher levels.

i called that we were gonna get a dark type captain/kahuna, since they aren’t gym leaders, and lo and behold..........  at first i thought i wasn’t gonna like him b/c he gives off that boring grizzled angsty dude vibe like he’s the protagonist of some gritty console game where everything is weirdly hyperrealistic, but as it turns out, pokemon’s self-aware and g-rated interpretation of that trope is quite endearing.  the po town sub-arc in general really caught me off guard w/how genuinely disquieting and terse the whole atmosphere is, even w/the skull grunts’ silliness, and i think nanu’s whole g-rated film noir cop schtick fit in very well.  i also love his relationship w/acerola, since she’s easily in my top five fav sumo characters.  acerola loves her sad gay uncle.......
