Here is a NEWLY POSTED sneak peek at a future chapter of my fanfic WHAT COMES AFTER that was pre-written and waiting in editing while I currently focus on the chapters that lead up to it! (links/info below the cut)

(FYI, Astarion is hugging Tav's back to his front where she has just kissed his wrist/hand in front of her. This is following some MAJOR items in the chapters before it that you will need to wait for as I am still writing them, lol. I just couldn't wait to write THIS scene some time ago. @grlmmjow has managed to draw it out of me for all of you here!)

I don't know that I can get caught up with all of the games each of you have also tagged me in, I've been having labs and some procedures again, and sleep is something I have been forcibly getting alot of..... 😴

Ugh... I kind of dread the response I'm going to get from this WIP!! 😓

It's not my usual and I'm working on a super DARK chapter for Tav in my Astarion/Tav fanfic sequel....

Tav has just had a victory over a villain who hurt her friend and gets quite ...erm... carried away... 💀 (For those of you not in the know: this IS a post-game SPAWN Astarion fanfic, and he remains an unascended vampire in this timeline! And no, this is my OC TAV and not DUrge! My goody-goody Paladin warrior has a darkness that is revealed in GoodThingsCome fanfic prior to this sequel, and the sequel really delves into this past as well as their futures together.)

So fair ⚠️WARNING🔞: it's quite gory here.... I'll add a read more just in case.... LOL, Seriously, think "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" ...!! (iykyk, lol)

I've spent the majority of my time these last few weeks at work, at a family member's bedside in the hospital, or exhausted/asleep. Right now, I'm editing a chapter that I wrote several days ago for Part 2 on AO3... My brain so desperately needed an escape and so off I went.... and, even though I don't usually name them, I decided to call this chapter "Creature Comforts"....

And I am MOST DEFINITELY blushing while writing it and... honestly... a little scared of how (good!) dark I went with the things I did after this point..... but am pleased....

Astarion gestured with his head in the direction of the water, “It certainly smells better than the Festering Cove that you go to with the Koa-toa under the tower back home.” Reluctantly, he released his grip on her and turned her to face the lagoon. He needed her focus to be on that swim. Not on him. Tav laughed. “SO much better!” She pulled back from him and quickly lifted her tunic over her head, revealing her lace brassiere atop an hourglass figure and freckled, alabaster skin marked with a few jagged scars she wore as war trophies. Astarion watched her. He knew those scars. Each of them. Intimately. Tav removed her boots and brought her gaze to meet his. She moved at a more purposeful, careful, measured pace and let him watch her - and she observed his scarlet eyes that roved over her skin - as she ever so slowly wriggled out of her breeches and then slipped her underthings down her body to the ground. “Careful, Love,” he whispered huskily, “or you won’t make it into the water.” Astarion cleared his throat. “Where’s the fun in being careful, vampire?” she teased as she stood naked in front of him and trailed a finger across her chest, brushing some of her auburn hair aside with it. “You little scoundrel, you,” he croaked. She winked at him and then took off and darted for the water, knowing full well it would incite a chase. Tav knew she could make it into the lagoon before he snatched her if she used a little bit of her magic.

I've been tagged in so many things! I LOVE YOU ALL!

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to do much reading at all. Healthwise, stress-wise, I haven't been so hot.... so I have buried myself and my brain in my WIP sequel to my GOOD THINGS COME (SAstarion/FTav) fanfic as my escape in whatever free time I have.

Without a doubt, I wish that I could promote my work more... but we can only put on our plate as much as we can handle, right?! LOL!!

Alongside Astarion and my Tav, I have an entire arc for my own fictional character Finlay, one of the Gur children Cazador turned. Gandrel lives with them in the Underdark and plays a large part in this sequel, as well.
