Too Much Hell To Raise
They don’t deserve you.
You with your blazing stare,
your hair framing the changes
that are mapped onto your face.
They convince you that I’m a disaster
And I am. But so are you.
What’s more, you love it,
fearing the fact that you do.
I don’t feel but you make me feel things,
Terrible things, amazing things.
So don’t you dare tell me that
I don’t know what love is as you leave.
We kill and betray and suffer;
you stuck a knife in me and
I put a bullet in you, we are equal.
But we live,
Because we have too much hell to raise
before we are allowed to die.
