36. Is there a trope you’ve yet to try your hand at, but really want to?

This is really more an AU than a trope, but I’ve always really wanted to write a competition show AU.  Maybe Lovett’s on Worst Home Chefs and Tommy’s a judge.  Maybe Jon, Tommy, and Lovett enter the Great Food Truck Rodeo and fall in love while arguing along the road.  Maybe Lovett’s a young fashion designer on Project Runway and Dan’s a persnickety judge.  Maybe Dan and Tommy go on the Bachelorette together and fall in love with each other instead.  Maybe in a dystopian future Lovett’s on a game show to pay off his family’s debts and Jon is the rich benefactor who sees him on TV and rescues him.

38. What canon PODSA event would you most like to see written about/write about yourself?

Lovett’s brief hospital stay in Texas.  I’ve written it into all the 2018 canon outlines I’ve come up with since March, but haven’t actually written any of them.  When I do write a 2018 canon something someday, though, this weekend will feature prominently

32. How many WIPs do you have going now? Will you tell us about one of them?

Oh, anon, waaaaayyy too many.  I’ve honestly never had so many WIPs going at the same time, and it’s overwhelming.  BUT, these are the four I’m actively working on atm:

Remix fic, which I can’t say too much about but is started and preliminarily outlined.  It’s a new genre for me and I’m very excited about it!

Robot AU - JonJon - Lovett’s grandfather is halfway through developing a robot with the full range of human emotions when he dies and leaves Lovett to finish the project

Fake Marriage - JonJon - Exhausted and overwhelmed with starting a new company, Jon sends away for a mail order bride.  He gets Lovett, who fell out of politics over a decade ago and is looking for a foot in the Hollywood door.

11. How and when did you get into the PODSA fandom?

I started listening to PSA in mid-May 2017 when I had an hour and a half commute to work and fell in love immediately and then listened to the whole backlog in like a month. I found the fandom during the aftermath of wedding weekend, I think June 19th probably, when I was obsessing over the pics on instagram and realized there were likely other people doing the same thing and I’ve been stuck here (happily) ever since. 

34. How many WIPs do you have going now? Will you tell us about one of them?

This is a complicated question. Physically in a doc and being actively written: 2. Chatficced/Outlined to be written for sure: 3ish. Ideas/chatfics that may or may not ever come to fruition but definitely could: probably 5-10? 

The next one that ought to be finished, pending scene stealers (I’ve been working on it since fucking February), is genderswapped revolutionary war era tommyjonjon. It’s very close to done once the jonjon arm of the triangle decide they want to cooperate with me for the last few scenes:

Lovett whirls on the men still clustered in the hospital tent, “Out out out!” When they exit, murmuring amongst themselves, she turns her focus back to the injured soldier, the girl, on the bed. Well fuck. So much for not making any trouble.
