Request: Can you do a Jason Todd x reader where the reader is Latina and someone says something racist
Warning/note: I turned this to headcanons just because it was sitting in my drafts for the longest!!!!!Another thing, I based this off of a scenario my friend was in. Last thing, I noticed people usually like my headcanons when I include funny gifs as their reactions soo I guess I’ll be adding those now.
It was you and Jason’s third year anniversary
Naturally, Jason thought it was be a great surprise to take you to your favorite restaurant
Of course, the restaurant that you favored was exclusive, so it took him 5 months just to reserve 2 seats for one night
Gosh, you had expensive taste
You were both dressed in your best, looking like Gotham’s richest couple
Sitting in the velvet seats, you got confused glances towards you
You looked and felt great, so they couldn’t possibly be looking at you
Yep, you were damn wrong.
As the waitor walked towards you guys, you started to feel out of place
You had a bad feeling in the pit of your stomach
The waitor passed you the menus
“I’’ll just have a-” your accent light or heavy still evident.
“Hey, I took Spanish in high school. CoMo eStAs?”
“So we just bouta act like. okay.” You took in a deep breath, waiting for the maturity to kick in.
Jason the whole time:

You decided to be mature ignoring the waitor’s side comment
As the waitor ran away with your orders, you heard one thing that just made your day
“I swear these Hispanics are ruining this country, they should just go back to where they came from.” a feminine voice said behind you
When you turned to address the comment suddenly everyone got memory lost like:

Hearing these comments weren’t new to you, but to Jason it definitely was
How could people be so ignorant?
You decided it was time to leave as Jason threw his plate at the waitor.
The reasoning for this was, he tried asking why Hispanic people always had a tio or tia in the family? *cues eye roll*
