You know, at this moment I don’t honestly know if I can give you a complete one, but here’s some snippets.

I was in a Diner that was being built.  It’s mostly empty, but my dad is creating a custom bar for them.   Brought in in pieces, he had to weld it and polish it on site.  Stainless steel comes with a protective adhesive layer, he let me help by peeling off the plastic. 

I was by a warehouse he was building.  It was hot, and dirty, but I was having fun.  Still remember the smell of burning metal.  We had made a snack run, so I remember sitting there on some sheet metal, eating candied peanuts and drinking cherry coke for the first time. 

I was in a lady’s garden, she had a large yard.  She had statues all over the place, hers.   She was a sculptor, but she was only able to work with designs.  She drew them up, but it was dad who came and did the welding to put the statues together for her.  It was peaceful, and I remember being amazed that dad could make money not just in welding hand rails, but art.  And that I remember feeling like that lady was so rich.
