I was playing Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team. ( I’m an Eevee and my partner is a Cyndaquil. Also, no, I didn’t try to get Eevee, I just lucked out on it, I guess. ) Once I got to Sky Tower, A Pokémon I REALLY wanted to recruit onto my team was Tropius. I spent a fuckton of Sky Tower ( the last floors since that’s where it appears ) trying to get one. I went through, like, what, 20? Didn’t get one. I decided to restart because I’m an idiot but I didn’t want to wait and get Fly to try and get another. I forgot to save at the Kangaskhan rock at the Mid, though.... so I had to do all of that bullshit again. I ended up quitting again once because my Partner’s Special Band got knocked off and fell out of existence ( Fuck you, Shuppet ). So, when I finally got to the Mid again, first floor, my second encounter ( Fuck Aerodactyl even more, btw ). It’s Tropius. Guess what? I BEFRIEND IT.
