Two years ago, I posted a drawing of a Sprigatito with a flower under its ear. I would like to say this was the first time I drew Hana, but it would be another 5 months before I revisited the concept when starting on the comic, though the idea's been there. So I'll just say,

Time is a flat circle, guess we're going at it again
Aurora makes their comic debut in tomorrow's page! (although only as a background cameo, and it's still a bit longer until they do anything), but all of the main four will have finally appeared in the comic itself in some form! Don't worry, they'll get their time before the chapter is over. ❄️

Yin, the Double-Sided Disaster ☯️
Many years ago, Yin found the secret shrine that was guarded by the Ninetales clan. They attempted to steal the treasure that was being guarded, but failed, and was cursed by the Ninetales in the process. (One of Aurora's ancestors)
This curse left Yin with immortality, but under the condition of being burdened with wearing a yin-yang shaped necklace. If the necklace were ever to be removed, Yin would die shortly after, unless the necklace is put back on quickly enough. (About three to five minutes)
They've spent the years since recieving this curse wandering the land, plotting a way to revenge. During this time, they met Floette and managed to gain her trust, while also obtaining an Absolite Z, embedding it in the necklace.
When Yin Mega Evolves, they go berserk, their blue eye going almost completely blind, being hidden behind their hair, while the red eye's senses are heightened significantly. They are prone to accidental Rouge Mega Evolution at some times, however.
In the present day, Yin is keeping up Floette's trust in helping the humans, and gaining their trust too, but in reality, some darker secrets await. What could their plans actually be? Are they somehow associated with the appearance of those strange sludge puddles?
So finally, a bit more lore of one of the comic's oldest characters! Their lore has been redone a little bit since the Z mega was revealed, heh
And perhaps a bit of a secretly antagonistic Pokemon who's putting on a facade as a helper? We'll see more of that later 😉
