Watched Professor Marston and the Wonder Women… what a fucking amazing film. I was afraid for sure that it would end with the three being content that their relationship really was wrong and it would be Olive and Bill, or Olive and Elizebeth (didn’t read the real history before hand)
Such a brilliant portrayal that didn’t fetishise Polyamory as just sex and porn material, but an actual loving relationship between three people 😭😭😭

I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It is one of my favorite movies in the entire world. It makes me laugh cry and feel so amazing.
I did a report on the three of them in high-school. As a closeted bisexual in a tiny town, they meant so much to me and I was obsessed with their love.
When I found out about the movie I was terrified they wouldn't do them justice but when I found out it was directed by a queer woman of color I was so relieved.
It is a gorgeous movie of love and loyalty and family and how all of those things triumph in the end.
And as someone who also grew to enter and enjoy the world of bdsm, this movie is everything to me.
I’m watching Professor Marston and the Wonder Woman and one thing I love is how they don’t over-emphasize which child was related to whom because all three of them were really their parents
