Kingdom hearts and Danny phantom! 

If you havent play kh 358/2 days there will be some spoilers below

You know the sad thing about both of these characters is when they were first introduced I HATED them, both for the same reason, the whole "mary sue" thing. They are both just copies of another character (or characters in xions weird case). But weirdly after playing through kh days, i really grew to feel for xion, and by extension Dani. Both are reverse gender clones of our main character, disliked by their creators and considered failed experiments. Now unfortunately in Danis case the writers never really explored her character, but with Xion you get to see how horrible it is knowing that you are unwanted by the very people that made you, that to them you will never be as good as the original, that you are just some toy for them to play with and you see how all of this knowledge effects a person. And its freaking depressing. and you can apply ALL of this to Dani. Xion is pretty much what Dani could have been if the writers actually cared about her. (though Dani is less broody and more optimistic, at least from what we see)

Dani got no resolution in her story and Xion...jfc i guesss her story ended but I really hope its not left like it is.... (though I have a suspicion that yeah shes G rated dead)

Neither of these girls get a happy ending
