PHILOSOPHICAL LIBERTARIANISM & ALLOWING OPPOSING IDEALS
Iâm an ideological Libertarian. If we denounce and decry opposing agendas like the anarchists or the communists, everyoneâs going to question our motives somewhere down the historical line, thinking, âwhy? Is it possible that the side weâre on is actually an oppressive state, and are persecuting the others for fear that this new TRUE WAY might overtake our presently obsolete ideology?â        Opposing views should serve to solidify our own. Thatâs the power of the dialectic. I say let the anarchists and everyone else practice freely - as they also should for us â and the ultimate way will naturally show out in the wash. Freedom to practice ideals takes our meddlesome human contrivance out of the picture and leaves it up to Nature to separate the wheat from the chaff in order that the Ultimate way might manifest and reveal itself, rather than that which is perceived to be the ultimate way by a select snowblinded few.        Man is foolish to attempt controlling policy from without. What fear is there for burgeoning movements when we feel weâre on the âright side?â What about faith? Even if all sides are not the âultimate wayâ (which will likely be the case), at least if everyone has faith in fairness then we can deal with our policy with the clear, pure insight of honesty and due-course.        I say if youâre afraid to let opposing voices speak than the isle youâre standing on is probably crumbling beneath you.
