can ur art b used in carrds with credit? :]
Hi!! It can, if you're using like fandom art or fanart I make! I'd prefer no one use my characters or commissioned art though!
Kiwi, Mango, Strawberry š
Kiwi: Love your blog, equally interested in you as a person.
Mango: I wouldnāt mind talking to you if you ever messaged me, but itās not that big of a deal to me.
Strawberry: I wasnāt even aware I was following you. How did that happen?

Well, the con is on Friday and Saturday (30th and 31st, respectively), if that helps you out any.

Iāve not faced this situation before, but I think you should go to the person who contacted you, thank them profusely for offering the interview, then explain that you donāt yet live in Dallas and ask v politely to do the interview by skype or phone
I think so too. I really really really REALLY donāt want to let this opportunity pass me by entirely, just because this job is something I know I can do well, and one I would be entirely comfortable in doing.

*checks* I assume you have no access to a vehicle to drive a 10 hour round trip on a weekday? Thereās no harm in asking for a Skype or phone interview. Let them know your situation and if youāre gonna be in the area anytime soon, tell them about that
You got that correct-a-mundo; I have no vehicle to get there and back in a timely manner.
But if asking for a phone or Skype interview is all okay, then Iāll probably do that later today in my email response. Thanks!

*snugs* It doesnāt hurt to try and contact again, after maybe a week or so. Just a message to tell them āSo hey Iāve sent an application to you, hope youāll check it out.ā Thatās worked for some people I know.
I may do that for a few jobs I have my eye on. Thereās one I applied to for the the City of Austin about a month and a half ago that I havenāt heard back from. Although, from what I understand, the main supervisor for that library was out for some medical issue, and only got back recently? Iām not sure. My dad has a friend in Records who gave me a recommendation, and she told me that most government positions (local or state or nationwide) tend to take forever to respond in general, so even accounting for the absence, it could still be a while before I hear back about anything. Sheās been keeping an eye on the situation as a favor to my dad, for which I am eternally grateful, believe you me.
At this point, Iām just flinging my resume and cover letters to whatever full-time office entry positions I can find in Texas and hoping something sticks.

In my experience, thatās generally how it goes. I applied to large companies that get hundreds of applications and most of them canāt be bothered to inform the rejects. A couple had automated ā sorry you were not selectedā emails but most didnāt.
I guess Iāve just been lucky in my job hunts in past years. Iāve also gotten the automated emails, but yeah. Fantastic.
