I think. Yellow might already have been dying before the dark world, and I think susie moving him to Blue's container would save his life. He has enough petals falling to be saving the best ones. Given they all seem to have been set to re-root from cuttings and they need some degree of climate and temperature maintenance, having a shared root system with another plant could actually greatly improve his health.

friend Minecraft server vision & stuff because i'm thinking about it
I seriously wanna just put together a big modded Minecraft server to invite all my friend groups to so i can observe whether they do or don't mesh and also just,, to play Minecraft with them LMAO
the mods wouldn't be like completely game-altering and some will be pretty easy to learn (or avoid if you don't want to learn them), but there's obviously gonna be ones like Ice & Fire and Origins that do add unavoidable difficulty to the game but Minecraft is still Minecraft, but i also wanna say no discord vcs (altho there probably will have to be a discord server) allowed and use the proximity chat mod
basically just use my usual vanilla + modpack to make the game interesting enough to keep my tryhard friends (okay there's ONE SPECIFIC DUDE who's the kinda player who finds a village and tears down a mountain to make a billion farms (he did that on another server)) from getting bored of the game and have motivation to work together and figure out how different mods work and maybe create a cool village together
well maybe i'll add some harder mods than my usual vanilla+ stuff cause' ofc there's tryhards
anyway i'd say opening day of the server i'd try to find a day and time frame where most of my friends will be able to play and work together to make a little welcome area for joining players as a way to introduce each other, and then from then on anyone can join at any time and maybe there can be little events or meet ups just to hang out or raid a dragon's nest
i wonder if there's a mod to add preferred pronouns next to usernames... there probably is, cause' i have a lot of queer friends and i'd rather there not be any bad first impressions because of misgendering
obviously there's going to be rules n' stuff, like, there's this "play as a dragon!" mod i wanna include, but wanna make it a rule that you cannot choose an origin if you choose to be a dragon, (luckily part of the mod is this craftable block to become a player or different dragon if you change your mind, ima probably keep an origin orb on me for whoever does that and wants to choose an origin instead of being a dragon) and there's this exploit with the play as a dragon mod i wanna limit the usage of,, like, no intentionally using the exploit but if it happens it happens, obviously no griefing each other's builds, don't steal anything too valuable, ect.
plus since like, i'm the one who owns the server, no nerves when going to the owner of the server for problems or some bug or mod suggestions, because that's me and i'm inviting exclusively friends
i just hope if this does happen there's no problems because i fr fr wanna introduce all my friends it's just that everyone has a different sense of humor LMAO
The characters in Yellowjackets are just so well written imo.
This is kind of a long and rambly one so just gonna put a cut here to save space, but please, do keep reading
Like in season one, especially in the beginnig Misty is the antagonistic one of the group who lies, manipulates and just does these horrible things. She is the one person we see taking off her mask and therefore know she seems to be wholeheartedly participating in the weird fuck up rituals they did in The Wildernessn™. Like we also see why but it doesn't make it any better.
And then, by the end of season three she is kind of one of the sanest ones. She is almost good. She's still done fucked up shit and propably a sociopath but they are all fucked and she has also done some really good things.
Now compare that to Shauna, we see her in the beginnig doing some pretty bad stuff but like, she is pretty sane and she really is trying her best. She cheats and she kills Adam but well, she is still one of the good ones.
Cut to season three and Callie asks what we've all started to think. What if she's actually just a bad person? She is a victim of terrible, terrible things but it begs the question of at what point can't her deeds be justified by that anymore.
And then we have Nat and that's just such a fucking tragedy, man. She was deeply fucked and had issues but moraly she was propably the best one of them all, and what does she get for it? Season three we see her just doing her best, barely keeping it together, strugling more and more but still relatively sane. And then she finds out about Misty and the transponder and the desperation in her voice when she asks her how they can get home. It's so like...
Cause like, she saw Misty, who has been in so much denial as a coping mechanism over the shit they've done and she doesn't even try to fight back when Nat (deservably) hits her and blames her. And Nat knew that it was no use telling what she did to anyone bc it would A. Distract them from trying to get home B. Blow up the whole plan when Shauna would find out why that even came up and C. Propably get Misty killed.
And then Nat dies. And how does Misty react? She starts kinda copying how Nat used ro act. She takes her jacket and tries to act all intimidating and on top of it all, her actions become more moral. She tries to be one of the good ones. She is done having so much blood on her hands. Well, as done is she can ever really be. And THEN in the teen timeline we get that scene of Misty taking her mask down and everything that's happened just changes that complitely. She isn't happily going along with the crazy, she know Nat did it and they are getting saved.
And don't even let me get started on Van. My poor baby. She survives the crash and makes it back home just so she can slowly die of cancer? And then she doesn't even get that. She isn't allowed a death in hospital, knowing what's coming, spending her last moments with the love of her life, no she hes to go trough treatments and check ups just to be fucking stabed to death and to die alone. By FUCKING MELISSA OF ALL PEOPLE??? But look at Van, she was always a hero, wasn't she? At least she gets that? It doesn't make it okay but her death at least was heroic. She saved Shauna and Tai and could take Mels life. She died a good person. The same person who played a huge role in them all getting saved by fixing the radio.
And now that I've mentioned Mel? Oh man, she is just her own very special kind of fucked up. There is something so intriquing about her to me. All of these characters who've kinda been on the sidelins and now get more screentime. Especially when it's like this. The more quite characters seem a bit more sane compared to the more vocaly crazy ones like Shauna and Misty cause they are just that, quiet. But it doesn't mean that they are okay. Of course they aren't, how could they be? I do have complicated feelings about bringing Mel and Akilah, even Kristen into the spotlight after having them be so in the background but what it's worth, I do think they did it gracefully. Like they have always been there.
And talking about the non main cast characters, Mari's death just so well written. It feel so useless and dehumanising and perfectly wrong. And it's not only dehumanising to Mari but to all of them. Shauna wanted the hunt to happen and so they drew cards, just livestock waiting to see who it'd be. If Mari ended up as nothing more than a sacrifice, a crude murder that didn't need to happen, what does that make the others? Broken and scared and fucked up creatures that hunted her and would have hunted any one of them if the card was drawn by someone else. People who maybe just played along and wouldn't have even killed her because they didn't want to but who even if by accident, chaced her to fall in to the pit. Andthe foreshadowing that it'd be her by starting the season with Mari running trough the forest and Shauna chacing her? The options for who the pit girl was were already dwindling and then that fucking opening?
