Platonic MalleYuu… okay

Malleus is, for the first time, not the strongest person in the room. It is a very novel feeling for him

Yuu meanwhile clocks him as slightly stronger than everyone else and moves on with their life

The two go in little nighttime walks. Malleus likes to look at ruins while Yuu likes to stargaze

They gift magical trinkets back and forth. Yuu makes them meanwhile Malleus gets them from his home

Yuu makes it a point to try and teach Malleus how to control his own magic because someone has to and obviously it’s not going to be anyone else

Malleus is bemused by Yuu’s lack of fear for the longest time. Even after he learns Yuu is a demigod, he doesn’t quite realize how little of a threat he poses to them because Yuu is very good at hiding their strength

Yuu once enchanted a gargoyle (that they hand made) to be semi sentient and it is now Malleus’s prized possession

Regarding Book 6, would Yuu be more targeted by the titan phantoms because of their divinity, thus being mistaken as Jupiter more? I don’t know if you're doing the parents too, but how would Mrs. and Mr. Shroud react to Yuu being a demigod, as I highly doubt the Styx workers would hide what happened during Idia’s overblot and the Shroud family connection to TWST underworld.

Just ignore my question if you don’t wanna answer it. Anyways I been loving the story, and I can’t wait to see more of it.

I will keep this vague for spoiler reasons but Yuu is going to have enough problems to deal with in Book 6 even without factoring in the phantoms targeting them

… but it would be funny…

As for the Shrouds and Yuu. Well, we’ll have to see won’t we? I mean, Yuu is already familiar with Idia and Ortho, so it would stand to reason that their parents would be familiar with their son’s newest friend right?

Lilia makes it a point not to sneak up on Yuu and if he’s teleporting, he’ll make sure to make it noticeable. Both because he doesn’t want to send Yuu into a panic but also because he knows Yuu is liable to pull a weapon on him if they are startled badly enough

The two sit on the roof and share stories. They usually focus on the happy ones and skirt around the sadder ones

There is a mutual trust there based on past experiences. If they had to trust anyone to protect the people they love in their stead, it would be the other

Lilia tries his best to get Yuu to calm down and come out of War Vet mode since he’s had centuries to do so and Yuu had just finished another conflict before entering TWST

This mean Lilia drags Yuu into silly shenanigans to get them to chill out a bit, which Yuu typically indulges

Lilia is extremely worried about what Yuu could possibly be entering should they return to their world considering they said they were “still in service”

Yuu can will and has thrown things at Lilia for trying to fool in their kitchen. No food will be wasted under their roof

The two have a lot of fun talking obscure, weird magic theory. It sounds like nonsense to everyone else around them but they get it somehow

Not only do we share the same braincell for all blorbo thoughts, but your writing is a genuine delight to read and always makes me bounce off the wall feral style. I love how you craft characters and make them feel alive. I adore playing dolls with you :) <3

Yuu can say basically anything and Ace will be horrified like “what??? The fuck are you talking about?”

If it was anyone else saying it, he wouldn’t believe it but it’s Yuu. And he unfortunately knows they’re not lying

Ace sometimes gets kinda insecure about Yuu dating him because they’re well, a demigod. They’re so strong and pretty and capable meanwhile he’s just… the most average teenage boy ever

However Yuu really likes how normal and average he is. Their entire life has been one divine crisis after the other so Ace? Is a breath of fresh air

Ace get embarrassed by normal dating things which Yuu may or may not take advantage of

(Listen, they’ve fought in wars against immortals. If they want to lovingly bully their boyfriend with affection they can. They’ve earned it)

They both actually really enjoy card tricks and sleight of hand magic and make it a point to try and get one over on the other

Ace serves as a sort of touch stone for normal stuff that Yuu doesn’t understand while Yuu serves as a bit of excitement in Ace’s life

Deuce is an eternal third wheel, but he’s not insufferable about it like Ace. Most of the time. He does ask Yuu if they’re sure about dating Ace on occasion

Ace’s family all love Yuu, even if they’re kinda confused about… everything.
