it's pretty informal! he invites me to his apartment because he wants to cook for me which ngl to you i know people will be like what a shitty first date but that's my preferred first date. you can go to any restaurant any time but a home cooked meal? with a couple of beers? a lot of giggles? impeccable.

so i never show up empty handed anywhere i'm invited and after much back and forth with him about not bringing anything, i bring some beer and a castella cake with honey whipped cream. he sets up a little station where we can make sushi hand rolls and it's very hands on and sweet. lots of feeding each other, lots of just little tactile things like we are both very tactile people. we love to touch, we love to be present so it was perfect.

this is truly sending me bc i have been actively attempting for years to get the url kendall but someone has it and hasn't posted since 2007 so you know LSJFLSJDFLSJDFLKSJDFjf even back in like 2014 i was like god why can't i just have the url kendall. why am i hated.....

anywho THANK U FOR ASKING AND THANK U FOR BEING SO SWEET <333 in my self ship au we are both in our 20's (i am 29, he is 26...he likes an older woman wink wink wink) and i just love imagining grown up hajime. he's still the leader of bofurin but they're more of a community task force than they are a gang (at least that's what he tells me so i don't worry) and his gardens, personal and community, are nothing short of impressive.

the community garden is really practical and changes seasonally, as most gardens do. sweet potatoes, tomatoes, various squash, a small patch of corn, cucumbers, peppers....everything! everything he can! and it's no questions asked, come take what you need for everyone in makochi. the bofurin gentleman and boys help him tend this garden.

the elderly woman down the street listened to him gush about what a good listener you are for an hour and smiled when he felt the need to give multiple examples. she gladly took your spot just to appraise the smile on his handsome face and the flush in his cheeks.

a new father, a family man, who he gives whatever overstock (he always seems to have one…) of vegetables to standing patiently in his kitchen while he’s showing him pictures of you holding most of the produce in your arms with a smile on your face.
