basically burning spice inevitably falls in love with dark cacao but they obv can’t be together. he still tries anyway.

dark cacao also falls for him. they’re star-crossed lovers now!!! qoahhh

anyways they still try to be together. they secretly meet up, they promise to never leave each other, etc.

but dark cacao knows that this knowledge would shake his ENTIRE KINGDOM to it’s core. and they eventually find out

everyone starts rioting against him, and they try hunting down burning spice.

you decide the rest!!!! (MAKE IT DOOMED NOW)

basically burning spice is very very EEPY and dark cacao notices and aids him by hugging him casually and letting him rest on his shoulder (imagine they’re sitting down)

and then burning spice tries to mumble some ahhh ab ‘mmmghhhh nooooo nuh uhhhhh im the destroyerrr’ when dark cacao lulls him to sleep by stroking his hair and stuff.

he’s very calm and collected the whole time until burning spice sleeps. then he finally lets himself chuckle softly and smile at his husband’s peaceful expression as he sleeps

i can imagine dark cacao insisting that he has to watch over him for a good two hours before finally letting himself sleep as well

This goes along with my contradicting dark cacao headcannons.

Here, let's say he has..... insomnia, right? So, burning spice sleeps, and he stays awake, and like watches over him, cus, Burning spice can't protect himself when asleep

Or, the Dark cacao has Narcolepsy one. Burning spice falls asleep, and then Dark cacao is out like a light. And when Burning spice wakes up, he finds Dark cacao just out, like nothing prepared him for this.
