God! Can this kid just shut up already?
It was the 4th day of the new school year at Midtown High  and your chemistry class was already in the middle of summer project presentations. Every head in the room relied on their elbow and hand to keep from falling into a noticeable slumber, revealing to the teacher that surprisingly, New Yorkâs brightest science students did not care one bit about their own, and especially, someone elseâs Chemistry project. You could feel your eyelids getting heavier and heavier, your head drifting downwards, and your back muscles relaxing until-
â[Y/N]!â Your eyes shot open to the noise of a sharp whisper, and you playfully glared at the beautiful, petite blonde that was sitting next to you. Your best friend, Betty Brant. You rubbed your eyes and started to tie up all of your hair into a ponytail, giving Betty a sleepy grin.
âWhat?â you mouthed to her, becoming fully aware of the silence in the classroom. You were pleased to notice that the monotone and pretentious classmate was finally done with his presentation, and none of the students in the class bothered to clap or give any acknowledgement to his work. âI told you to never wake me up from my naps! Unless, itâs an emergency,â you joked in a low whisper.
Betty leaned closer to you with a huge smirk on her face. âI know! Thatâs why I did the evil deed.â She tapped your arm with her pencil eraser and darted her eyes towards the front of the room. You gave her a curious look and followed the direction of her eyes. Standing in front of the room was the next presenter, Peter Parker.
You could feel your heart beating faster and faster as you listened to him talk about Thermodynamics and observed the blooming grin on his face as he got deeper into his presentation. It was clear he was passionate about this topic. He was in love with Chemistry, and thatâs why you swooned over him. His enthusiasm and excitement was just adorable. Not to mention that he was adorable himself. His perfect, shiny teeth could blind onlookers, his messy, curly brown hair fell perfectly, and his muscles. God, his muscles.
âOw!â you shot under your breath. You turned to face Betty and glared at her once more, but this time it wasnât playful. She broke you out of your Peter trance. âWhat did you do that for?â Grasping your arm, you realized that she had pinched you. Hard.
âCould you be more obvious, [Y/N]? You were practically drooling during his whole presentation. Not to mention, you were the only one, may I repeat, the only one who laughed at his Chemistry puns. You gotta learn how to be more secretive. Jeez.â She finished with a low chuckle and gathered all of her books and pencils. âTry to behave yourself while Iâm gone. Iâll see you at lunchâ And as if on cue, the bell rang and she got up from her seat while giving you a wink.
You let out a long sigh and threw your backpack over your shoulder, getting up from your lab table and heading to your next class. Luckily for you, your next class was your favorite- American Government and Politics. This is what you lived for. Your father was a very popular campaign manager and ever since you were little, you were heavily involved in politics. In fact, the reason why you lived in Queens, NY was because a political underdog, Brenton Phillips, hired your father to be his campaign manager for the upcoming Senatorial election. Ever since your Junior year, you worked along side your father and the whole Phillips campaign, hoping for his success. But you knew that with your fatherâs guidance, Phillips would not fail. However, moving to Queens and starting a brand new high school Junior year was not easy for you in the beginning. It wasnât until you signed up for Midtownâs school news team you found someone you could rely on. Betty. She was your saving grace. She introduced you to all of her friends and they gladly accepted you into their group, but you and Betty had a very special connection that could not be matched with the others.
You had your girl friends. You had your guy friends. But, you didnât have a boyfriend. This didnât bother you one bit. When you first moved to Queens, you didnât find any of the boys attractive and intelligent enough. But then, summer of Junior year happened.
You landed a job at the local library and one of the daily customers caught your eye. He was beautiful. You watched him as he always strolled past the Fiction section and headed straight towards the Science section. He gathered books on Computer Programming, Engineering, and different types of chemical mixtures, and he would always return the books the next day, completely read. As you checked out his books for him, you could feel him looking at you. This made you turn a shade of deep red, so you made sure to keep your head down toward the bookâs barcodes, attempting to hide your color from his melty, brown eyes. You two never made long conversation. You both were too nervous, but when you gave him all of his newly checked-out books, he gave you a shaky smile and offered you gummy worms. Of course, you would smile back and always pick out two red and blue worms. Sometimes, your hands would touch or brush up against each other when you reached. Every time this happened, you could have sworn you felt sparks.
Yes, this boy was Peter Parker.
âOh! Hey there, Penis Parker! Are those books too heavy for you? They are? Well, let me give you a hand!â Flash Thompson, the schoolâs biggest asshole, glared at Peter and completely punched all of the books out of Peterâs arms. He let out an evil snicker and walked on, kicking one of Peterâs textbooks on the way.
âMotherfucker,â you whispered under your breath as you quickly made your way towards Peter. As you bent down, you almost fell forward because of the heavy weight of your backpack, but you caught yourself and got your hands on two of Peterâs books. You both started to straighten up at the same time and Peter began to turn his face towards you.
âThank you so muc-â Peter stood there frozen, like a deer in headlights. Itâs her! Itâs her! He thought to himself. Be cool, Peter. Be cool. Donât mess this up. Come on, itâs your senior year be a little more courageous for once. He opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out. Oh, shit. SHIT! He panicked in his mind. Why am I not working?
As he stood there frozen, you could see he was not okay. To save him from his internal conflict he was clearly having, you decided to break the silence.
âHi, Peter!â Giving him your sweetest smile, you held out his Engineering textbook and waited for him to take it. âI loved your Chemistry presentation today.â
Peter gulped. âY-you know my name?â With his viciously shaking right hand, he gently took his textbook from you and softly tucked it underneath his armpit. In a nervous manner, he ran his fingers through his curly hair and could feel his sweat. Oh, hell! He quickly pulled his hand away from his hair and very secretly, wiped his wet hand onto his pants.
Mesmerized by his actions and handsome self, you slowly cocked your head to the side and a soft smile crossed your face. âOf course I do.â You began to hug his other textbook. âDo you know my name?â you asked, giving him a playfully curious look.
Peter pulled his Engineering textbook to his chest with a grin and began to hug it as well. There was something about you, your personality and beautiful smile, that made Peter serene in that very moment. All of his nerves suddenly flooded away and he said: âOf course, [Y/N].â As another smile began to grow on his face, he bit his bottom lip.
Your eyes popped out of your head and you looked down at the ground in disappointment. âOh⌠well, uh⌠actually⌠my name is Mollyâ. When you looked up, all you could see was the look of horror on Peterâs face. His rosy, pink color was completely flushed and was replaced with the color of a ghost. He began to rapidly shake his head in disapproval of himself. âI am SO sor-â
âPeter, I was just kidding! You were correct the first time.â You let out a small laugh and playfully shoved his textbook you were holding into his chest. Peterâs look of horror was immediately replaced with a look of relief. As he slightly stumbled backwards from your shove, he grasped the textbook and let out a chuckle.
âThat would have been so awkward. Do me a favor and never do that to me again, okay? I almost had a heart attack.â You smiled at his reply, nodded, and nudged your head forward, giving him the signal to walk through the halls with you.
Peter couldnât believe he was interacting with you. Every day over the summer, he would go to the library just to see you and dream of talking to you for more than 2 seconds. While you worked, he observed the way your beautiful hair would fall towards your face and how you quickly tucked it behind your ear. He observed the way you would bite your lip every time there was an error on the computer. He wanted to touch your face, your hair, your lips. Peter didnât even read the books he checked out half of the time, he just wanted to check you out.
âI think youâre really pretty,â Peter blurted out as you both were walking. But since he was slurring his words in nervousness, it just sounded like âItankyouralopolty.â In addition, you asked him a question at the same time, making his sentence even more incomprehensible. You turned around to face him and let out a giggle. âWhat did you just say?â you asked, tugging on your backpack straps.
âN-nothing! What did you just say?â
Here it was. The big question.
âW-well. I was wondering if you would be interested inâŚâ
Peter could feel his ears burning up. Is she going to ask me out?
âWorking for Brenton Phillips?â
Of course not! Peter thought. Thereâs no way a guy like me can be with a girl like her. Youâre silly for even thinking that, Peter!
âI see your photos in the Daily Bugle all the time, and theyâre absolutely amazing! My dad is looking for an intern to take photos of Phillips that boost his image, you know? He really needs more support! We would go to all the events and-â
âWe?â Peter asked, like that was the most important part of your speech.
âYes! I work for him as well, and I kind of just do whatever my Dad wants me to. I go to all the events and even write articles sometimes. I know youâre so busy with the Stark internship but-â
âIâll do it!â he shouted with a huge smile. Getting to spend time with you? Hell ya, heâll do it! âIâll do it!â he repeated once more, running his fingers through his hair. A gigantic grin blossomed on your face and you reached for his hand, gently squeezing it in excitement once you got ahold.
âOh, thatâs amazing!â you squealed. âTonight, we are having a volunteer event at the Ronald McDonald House on 3rd Avenue. Come and bring your camera!â You finally reached your destination, so you gave one last smile and hand-squeeze to Peter, leaving him alone in the hallway.
You were ecstatic. This meant you and Peter were going to spend over 2 hours a day with each other outside of school. This was a dream come true. On the other hand, Peter just realized what he committed to. Another job? Oh, God. How could he possibly do this and protect all of the citizens of  New York? Well, he had to figure something out. There was no way he was going to give up this opportunity: getting closer to you and the chance to impress your father. A one way ticket to a relationship, right? He looked down at his hand that you squeezed and could still feel your warmth on his skin. He smiled once more and longed for your hands to be touching again. As the bell rang, he panicked when he realized he was standing in the middle of a hallway and no where near his next class, but then, another frightening thought crossed his mind:
He doesnât know shit about politics.

Part 2-
âOnce there was a tree, and she loved a little boy. And everyday, the boy would come and he would gather her leaves and make them into crowns and play king of the forest!â
The room full of children was soon full of laughter as the kids crowded around you became highly entertained with your animated expressions while you read the classic childrenâs book, The Giving Tree. Many of the children that were gathered around you sat in wheelchairs, wore scarves over their heads to hide their terrifying journey of chemo, and overall, were in serious pain. It killed you inside to know that such beautiful souls were hurting, but seeing their precious smiles and hearing their endless giggles made you feel honored and touched to share this moment of happiness with them. As you continued reading the story, two little girls began to cuddle up against you and started to braid your hair, making you fall into a deep state of relaxation. You loved children, and they loved you. You wouldnât want to be doing anything else on this Friday evening.
The rest of the Phillips campaign team, including your father and Brenton Phillips, were sitting with the childrenâs parents in the dining hall of the Ronald McDonald House. Phillips took the time to ensure to the parents that if elected, he would not support the notorious health bill that was being debated endlessly at Capitol Hill. The parents began to clap and nodded their heads in strong agreement. Finally, a candidate who understands and wants to protect them and their cherished children. Once Phillips was done giving his speech, everyone on the campaign team began to head to the kitchen to start serving the food they cooked for the families. Well, not everyone on the campaign team. You were in the playroom with the children, and Peter, who just arrived at the scene, was leaning against the doorframe of the playroom watching you interact with the children. He had a huge smile on his face.
Whatta sight, Peter thought to himself. He never saw you this happy before. Your skin was glowing, your newly braided hair was perfectly done, making you look like a princess, and your gorgeous smile never left your face. Beauty radiated off of you, internally and externally. He couldnât keep his eyes off of you. He held up the camera that was in his hands and began to capture the masterpiece that was laid out in front of him.
ââCome, Boy, sit down. Sit down and rest.â And the boy did. And the tree was happy.â As you finished the book and closed the cover, you heard a faint click beside you. A faint smile grew upon your lips as you turned towards the noise and discovered Peter taking pictures of you. Pushing yourself up from your crossed-legged position and heading towards Peter, he quickly dropped his camera to his side. Your smile grew when you witnessed his face turn a bright pink. You caught him.
âPeter,â you giggled. âYouâre supposed to be taking pictures of Philips, not me!â
All Peter could do in that moment was let out a light chuckle and look down at his feet. He was still stuck on the euphonious way you said his name. However, he had no choice but to finally look up at you when you gently grabbed his hand. You both stared at each other and had nervous grins across your faces. âCome help me take the kids to dinner.â And with that, you let go of his hand and started for the children.
Peter looked around the room and laid eyes on a very special kid sitting in the corner. He was feverishly drawing and coloring a picture of the one and only, Spider-man. Peter quickly walked up to the kid and kneeled down next to him. âThatâs a great drawing you got there,â he said. The little boy curiously looked up at the teenager next to him. âYou drew his suit perfectly! The spider in the center is exactly how it looks⌠in pictures,â Peter corrected himself. The little boy began to grin as Peter kept complimenting his drawing skills.
âIâm making this for Sp-Spider-man!â the boy held up his picture like Simba in the beginning of The Lion King. âDo you think heâll like it?â
Peterâs eyes popped out of his head, like the kid just asked an insane and out-of-this-world question. âOf course heâll like it! Heâll love it!â Seeing the pure joy on the little boyâs face made Peterâs heart bubble and fizz. âIn fact, I know Spider-man. Heâs one of my friends! I can give this picture to him, if you would like?â
The little boy opened his mouth in disbelief and began to nod his head frantically. âYes, yes, yes!â shoving the picture into Peterâs arms.
The rest of the night, Peter followed Phillips around the House, and he began to form a deep appreciation and respect for the candidate. He took pictures of him serving food to the kids and adults, laughing and playing with the children, and the perfect shot: Phillips cuddled up with a little boy on a couch, both asleep with a book cracked open on his lap. As Peter showed you this picture at the end of the night, you noticed how close you were standing next to each other. Inching closer to Peter to âget a better look at the pictures,â you could feel the intense heat between your bodies. You turned your head to look up at him, but you quickly looked back down at the camera when you discovered he was already looking at you.
â[Y/N]!â You heard your father call. He was heading straight towards you and Peter. Peter began to shift back and forth on his feet uneasily. âIs this the Peter boy Iâve been hearing so much about?â he asked, holding out his hand.
Peter smiled at your father and firmly shook his hand. She talks about me? Oh, God! She talks about me! What does that mean?
âNice to finally meet you, Mr. [Y/L/N].â
Your father flashed him a quick smile and pointed to his camera. âMay I see what you captured tonight? The bar is set pretty high. [Y/N] always says that youâre the best photographer around.â You stuffed your elbow into your fatherâs ribs. âDad, chill out!â you whispered, hoping that Peter wouldnât think youâre a crazy, obsessed freak.
Peter chuckled and handed him his camera, watching as your father sifted through the camera roll. He was immediately relieved when your father let out a big âWow!â
âThese pictures. Theyâre- theyâre great! Especially, this one,â showcasing Peterâs perfect shot. âIâm going to send this picture to all the newspapers in New York. Is that okay with you?â Peter nodded in shock. Of course it was okay! âGreat!â your father gave Peter his camera back. âAwesome work, Peter. Youâre a great new asset to the team.â
You turned to your father and gloated, âI told you he would be!â
The next night, you and Peter sat across from each other at a huge dining table at a restaurant for a fundraising gala. Luckily, your dad placed you two in the back of the room where nobody could see you, because while Phillips was giving the speech of a lifetime, Peterâs mouth was wide open waiting for you to throw an olive in it.
âScoot closer!â you whispered. Peter, with his mouth still wide open, leaned toward the table and shot back when you perfectly tossed the olive into his mouth.
âNice shot!â he laughed while chewing. Peter picked up a pea and before you could react, he threw the tiny vegetable and let it hit you right on the nose.
âDude, give me a warning next time!â you quickly used your pointer finger to wipe off the pea juice that was left on your nose. Peterâs endless chuckling made you giggle, but the fun soon came to an end when your father glared at you from across the room. Both of you pursed your lips and had no choice but to sit there and listen to Phillips like respectful adults.
âWe cannot let my opponent, Charles Bridgeham, win this election again. Bridgeham is a son of one of the wealthiest families in New York and his current term as Senator is polluted with bias and pork to please his familyâs business partners. Bridgeham is not even an experienced politician. Just another rich kid buying his way to power.â
All of a sudden, you felt something hit your leg. You look up at Peter and his eyes are glued on Phillips, but he had a giant smirk on his face. Is this boy playing footsie with me? You playfully rolled your eyes and began to gently kick his feet back. What are we? Middle schoolers?
At the end of the gala, your father walked up to Peter and gently put a hand on his shoulder. âHey, Pete. Can you do me a favor and walk [Y/N] home tonight? Iâm going back to the office to debrief with the team.â Peter gladly agreed and you two began to walk towards your apartment.
At first, the walk home was full of silence and awkward tension. The only thing Peter could hear was his heart beating and your teeth chattering from the bitter cold of the night. He quickly took off his sports coat and held it out for you to take.
âOh no, no, no,â you said while rubbing your arms up and down, attempting to warm yourself. âIâm totally fine!â Peter was able to see through your lies and wrapped his coat around your shoulders himself. You looked up at him and gave him a soft smile. God. You were so nervous right now. You have never really been alone with him before, and he just gave you his jacket?! Thatâs a classic flirting tactic.
âSooo,â you sang, âHow is the Stark internship going?â From the look on his face, you could tell it was not going well. It looked like he had hurt in his eyes.
âUh, well. Iâm actually on break right now. Mr. Stark wonât let me do anything until I apply to colleges. He says that I should have a plan for the future, but all I want to do is work for him! College can wait, right?â You nodded and again, gently grabbed his hand in an attempt to comfort him. You knew how much that internship meant to him, and being on break probably killed him. You began to let go of his hand, but Peter kept holding on.
âWhat do you even do for Stark anyways? Do you help with the technology? Are you the receptionist?â you joked. Peter let out a small laugh and shrugged his shoulders. âYa, kinda. Something like that.â And before you could ask anymore questions, Peter stopped walking and turned to face you. He loved the sight that was right in front of him: the most beautiful girl, wearing the most beautiful dress, and his own coat draped over you. Make a move, Parker!
âSooo,â he sang, just like you did earlier. âWhen are we going on our next date?â
âOur next date?â you laughed, âWhen did we even have our first one?â Peter let out a playful gasp and started walking again, your hand still intertwined with his.
âOur first date was on Friday!â
âAt the Ronald McDonald House? What!?â
âCome on! That was such a date. You held my hand⌠for like two seconds and I met your father! Sounds like classic date stuff to me.â
You let out a low giggle and playfully smacked his arm. âAnd then our second date was tonight!â he added. âA fancy dinner and Iâm even walking you home! Might I add, we are even holding hands for longer than two seconds!â
You dramatically rolled your eyes and slipped your hand out of Peterâs. âA fancy dinner with hundreds of other people.â
âI didnât notice anyone but you there.â
This made your whole entire body heat up to 100 degrees. There was no way you could look at Peter in the eyes right now; he would for sure notice your extreme change of color. Peter, on the other hand, couldnât even believe he just said those words. Where did all this courage come from? He thought to himself. He loved it.
âWeâve been on two dates already, and youâre not even calling me your girlfriend yet? How slow do you want to take things, Parker?â Finally, with your body cooling down, you looked at Peter and gave him a smirk. You slipped your hand back into his and didnât even care that his palm was the sweatiest thing youâve ever touched.
âG-girlfriend?â he stuttered, âCan I call you my girlfriend?â
You bit your lip and put on your best thinking face. âIâll let you know after the third date.â
And it was now time for the third date. You stood in front of Peterâs apartment door, raising a shaky hand to knock on the door. Why am I so nervous? The past week at school you and Peter were inseparable. After every class, Peter would walk with you to the next, even if his classroom was on the opposite side of the school. During lunch, you sat with Peter and his best friend, Ned, and you three would have conversations that left your sides hurting for hours. However, Betty soon got very jealous of all the attention Peter was getting, so one day, you brought Betty to sit with you and the boys. Right when Betty introduced herself and sat down, you could see the pure love in Nedâs eyes. You knew from then on, Betty wouldnât be that jealous, because she would soon have her hands full with a boy of her own.
âHey there! You must be [Y/N]. Itâs nice to finally meet you. Iâm May, Peterâs aunt! Come inside, come inside.â Â You stepped into Peterâs apartment and looked around. It was just how you pictured it: small, tidy, colorful. You turned to Aunt May and gave her a huge smile.
âNice to meet you too! I love your outfit,â you said while admiring Mayâs style. High waisted business pants, loafers, and a blouse? The definition of a powerful woman right there. May flashed you a smile and did a dramatic model spin.
âWhy, Peter! I love her already.â You laughed and followed May to the kitchen where Peter was hiding. âJust to let you know,â May whispered to you, âPeter has been in this kitchen for hours trying to make you homemade pasta. The fire alarm went off twice, so donât expect much.â Once again, you laughed and felt your entire body melt because of Peterâs cute gesture. He made dinner for me! You squealed in your brain and walked up to Peter who was slaving over the stove, mixing a pot of spaghetti. You took both of your hands and started frizzing up his hair.
âHey, Pete! Howâs the dinner going?â
Peter started to laugh and tried to shake your hands off his head. âHey, [Y/N/N]. Dinner is such a failure. I think I burned this spaghetti. I didnât even know burning spaghetti was possible!â You returned his laughter and picked up a burnt noodle and slurped it into your mouth. It was crunchy and disgusting, but not too disgusting.
âThis isnât bad at all! I think itâs delicious!â
You, Peter, and May sat at the kitchen table eating the crunchy and revolting noodles. You three talked about politics, Mayâs exhausting day at work, favorite books and tv-shows, fun facts, and school. However, the entertaining dinner conversation soon turned into a full-on âRoast Peterâ session. You were howling with laughter as May told you all of Peterâs embarrassing childhood stories and secrets. In return, you told May funny stories about Peter falling asleep in Chemistry and talking in his sleep and him tripping over his own feet while walking in the hallways.
âGeez!â Peter exclaimed, âHave some mercy on me!â In unison, you and May shook your heads and let out a big, fat âNope!â
Once dinner was finished, Peter took you to the living room and gave you the task of renting your favorite movie for the two of you to watch. As you looked through his movie selection, you realized that you didnât have to rent your favorite movie, he already owned it! You made Peter close his eyes and guess what movie you picked. You pressed play on Back To The Future and the beginning music started playing. Peterâs eyes popped out of his head. He recognized that music anywhere.
âNo way!â he screamed, âThis is your favorite movie? This is one of my favorite movies too!â You giggled and plopped down next to him on his big, red couch that had a Spider-man drawing above it.
âMy favorite movie of all time! I can quote every single line.â
As the two of you watched the movie, Peter was falling more and more for you. Like you said, you could quote every single line of the movie perfectly. While you sat on the couch together, you and Peter put on a two-man show, taking turns reciting lines. Right in the middle of the movie, Aunt May tiptoed towards the living room and poked her head in to see how the date was going. She made eye contact with Peter and raised her arm, giving Peter the hint to wrap his arm around you. Peter did just what his Aunt told him, and you gladly sunk into his side, resting your head on his shoulder. Aunt May grinned and gave Peter a thumbs up, but Peter just shooed her away. Â
âThis is my favorite scene!â you squealed. You jumped up from Peterâs side and leaned closer to the television. Marty McFly was playing the guitar and singing âJohnny B. Goodeâ at the high-school dance. You began to bop your head to the music and you couldnât help but to get up from the couch and dance around to the music. Peter looked at you with love-struck eyes.
âWhat are you doing?â he laughed. But before he could ask anymore questions, you grabbed his hand, stood him up, and spun him around like a ballerina. He had no choice but to attempt to dance around with you. You giggled at his awkward hip and feet movements, but Peter didnât care. He was having fun! You two observed the couples on the screen and tried to recreate their dancing, but it was too hard, so Peter just spun you around. Both of you couldnât stop smiling and giggling at each otherâs awful dancing. You began to feel very dizzy, so you spun one last time and landed yourself in Peterâs arms. You both stared at each other with deep concentration and longing.
â[Y/N!],â May shouted. You jumped out of Peterâs arms and he quickly walked to the other side of the room, making a large distance between the two of you. âYou left your phone in the kitchen, and itâs buzzing like crazy.â You thanked May and took the phone from her, scrolling through your notifications, you saw that you had 20 messages from your parents.
âHey, Peter. I have to start heading home. My parents want me back as soon as possible. They said they have to tell me something important?â You quickly put your shoes back on and headed for the door. Peter was following behind you, ready to walk you home.
âThank you for having me, May!â Peter shut the door behind you and started the trek back to your apartment. As you walked through the streets of Queens together, there was a comfortable silence. Your hand in his. Both of you randomly squeezing the otherâs, like it was a secret language. In some time, you arrived at the door of your apartment building.
âI had a great ti-â
âMe too!â you quickly spat out. You bit your lip when you realized you were being way too eager. Peter ran his fingers through his hair and laughed. He didnât mind.
âS-so, itâs the end of our third date,â he stated, âHow did I do? Can I- can I call you my girlfriend now?â
You gave him a nervous smile and scrunched up your nose. Holy shit. Of course he can. But all you did was lean up against the buildingâs brick wall and nod slowly. Peter couldnât tell, but your whole body was trembling. You were scared out of your mind. You have never met a boy as amazing as Peter, and you were terrified you were going to mess it up somehow. You two stared at each other for what seemed like hours. Both of you were hypnotized by each otherâs presence.
All of a sudden, Peter moved his head closer to yours, which was resting on the brick wall. You stood there frozen, from both fear and excitement. What if he thinks Iâm a terrible kisser? You worried. But, you had nothing to lose, so you leaned in, making your forehead rest against his. Both of you closed your eyes. Both of you grabbed each otherâs hands and intertwined your fingers once more. Peter gently rubbed his nose against yours and brushed his lips against yours, sending shock waves up your spine. As if the whole world was in slow motion, Peter finally pressed his warm lips against yours. You wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him closer to you as Peter deepened the kiss, making your whole head spin. You were about to pull yourself even closer to him, but you two were interrupted by a loud and high-pitched ringing noise.
Both of you jumped away from each other and Peter began to dig through his coat pockets. He pulled out his cell-phone, the one guilty of the awful noise, and answered a call.
âHappy?â Peter whispered into his phone. âWhatâs wrong?â
You stood there frozen against the brick wall. You could still feel Peterâs lips on yours.
âNo, no. Iâll head over there right now. Okay, okay. Bye.â Peter quickly hung up the phone and grabbed both of your hands. âIâm so sorry, but I have to go do something for Tony Stark! They took me off break,â he exclaimed.
You looked down at your watch and gave him a curious look. âItâs almost eleven oâclock at night. What does he need?â Peter couldnât think of anything good to say, so he bit his lip and sighed, âSpreadsheets?â
You cocked your head in confusion and Peter could see the disappointment in your eyes. Yes, he wanted to stay here and keep kissing you, but Tony needed him. âIâm so sorry! Iâll make this up to you. We should, uh, do that again!â he yelped while backing up towards the street, getting ready to run. You gave him a soft smile and waved goodbye.
You turned to the building door and starting digging through your small purse to find the key. What the hell just happened? You shoved the key into the hole and before you could open it, someone spun your whole body around. It was Peter. He came back. He grabbed your face with his hands and before you knew it, you two were kissing again with great passion. Your hands in his hair, his hands traveling down to your back and pulling you closer. He began to slowly slip in his tongue, gently caressing yours with his. You stood on your tiptoes, squeezing your eyes shut, trying to make it easier for you two kiss, but you were soon relieved when Peter pushed you up against the building door and leaned down more towards you. As Peter pulled away, your hands slowly released his hair you were pulling. Both of you were out of breath. While panting, Peter tried to comb his hair down with his fingers and he began to back up again.
âGoodbye!â he shouted while jogging away into the night, âFor real this time!â He left you with a wink.
Once he was out of sight, you opened the apartment building door, slammed it shut and let out one big squeal. âEEEEEEEEEPPP!â you danced around the hallway before running upstairs to your apartment door excitedly. When you opened the door to your home, you saw that all the lights were off. Your excitement was soon replaced with fear. Something wasnât right.
âMom? Dad?â you called out.
You inched deeper into the living room and the television screen was the only thing illuminating the pitch-black environment. You stood behind your parents, who were sitting on the couch in silence, watching the news. Â Your eyes widened in shock when you read the news ticker that was dancing across the screen:
NY Senatorial candidate, Brenton Phillips, just found shot in his home.

Friendzone
I don't know why everyone gets so angry when they get "friendzoned", I mean if the girl or guy you like friendzones you it means he/she is not interested in you, I think it's better to stop trying because I remember this guy who liked me a lot but I kept on telling him the feelings weren't mutual, long story short, I ended almost hating him because of his insistence 'cause he reached a point where he was no longer cute trying to get my attention but annoying. So guys/girls if he/she is not into you, don't make them hate you.
so this boy
is really cute and i like him a lot jesus christ i hATE BEING SO CONFLICTED ALL THE TIME
