Good morning, Nightrest residents. This is Catherine Graves, reporting live from our studio with an update. It is with a heavy heart that we inform you all that Anya Ngam had passed away in Griggs General this morning. The History teacher at Wardwell Academy suffered multiple stab wounds two nights ago, the same night the body of Elijah Hale, our local weatherman, was found. Law enforcement, as well as medical staff at Griggs General, confirm there was no foul play involved. Unfortunately, Ngam succumbed to her grave injuries, despite receiving immediate treatment.
We would like to remind everyone that the three deaths so far are considered homicide cases, and the investigation is still active. The town-wide curfew is still ongoing, and we encourage everyone to follow it, and to continue to be safe by never going out alone. Our hearts go out to the friends and family of Ngam, and we encourage everyone to give them privacy during this difficult time.
Once again, this is Catherine Graves, and this has been Nightrest News. Please, stay safe.
