#plot redux

But since it's Thanksgiving(or Friendsgiving for those just celebrating with close friends) you have no choice but to accept it and be grateful! So there!

As you're all familiar, back in September I came up with the idea of a Maxley story that crossed over with the 2017 DuckTales reboot, Darkwing Duck and took some inspiration of the concept of Independent Plants/plant hybrids from the anime Trigun. Well I'm here to share three important things concerning this idea. Important Thing #1: I am, in fact, going to make this a full-length story. I'm already working on the chapter concepts and other related notes. Important Thing #2: Regarding the plot redux, there are two major changes. The first change concerns Max's mother. Instead of my headcanon OC, Vanessa, as his biological mom I'm going to go with the comic character Glory-Bee. She's theorized as a possible candidate for Max's mom. And I wanted to set this story truly apart from the rest of my work and stretch my writing skills by working with a lesser-known, barebones character like Glory-Bee. Important Thing #3: As a result of the first major change this means that blonde!Max is back in action. So, if anyone enjoyed my blonde!Max headcanon AU shorts you'll be happy to know that the alternate blonde pretty puppy will soon be in his first feature-length story! Plus I thought this would be a neat way to make Max the "Vash" of the story since Bradley is basically Knives/Nai in terms of personality. So that's about it. I just wanted to share these three major plot changes with you all. And don't worry - I haven't forgotten about those other two Maxley stories that won the poll. I'll be working on them to publish after I finish my current miniseries! I'm properly refreshed from my break and ready to bring Reaching Out & Moving Forward to a close. And I'm actually brewing up something else to tide you guys over in the meantime. So stay tuned for that. Until we meet again, take care!
