This world does have real animals! As for your other question, characters may maintain non-supernatural animal companions if you wish! The animal would just have to be touching them when they were dragged into the wormhole, much like how realistic weapons and items your character has on them stay with them! I hope that helps! Hello! The group does run on real time! So, if you’ve been here for a month, so has your muse! When we first opened we did set the group (5/18) a month after Pokemon first appeared (4/18) to make it easier to interact, so if your muse appeared at the same time they did, they’ve been here for two months at this point (you just don’t get any levels or Pokemon for that first month if someone had their muse already set in our world before 5/18 since we just wanted to give a little time for the chaos to settle down in our world to make it easier to thread)! I hope that makes sense! Feel free to ask any other questions you might have!

Hello! Everyone who joined the group on the 18th or 19th get to level up their Pokemon five levels! And, you’re right, that’s how it works! On June 1st everyone who joined on the 18th, will get to level up five levels again, and get the chance to take on their second Pokemon! I hope this helps!

Hello, it’s okay! Any Pokemon that evolves by something other than leveling up can evolve once they reach level 20! I hope that helps! 

Hello! And it’s not a strange question at all! Pokemon so loose their memories when they go through a wormhole! It’s part of why they’re so hostile, as they’re just as confused and frightened as the humans who made the jump! So, they wouldn’t know of other Pokemon they had once lives with, and whatnot! Yes! Pokemon can end up anywhere, so one that isn’t native to a region very well could have ended up there upon being dropped off by a wormhole! Shiny Pokemon are event only (this includes the ones that were offered to previous members before the re-opening that were given as a reward for sticking with us). That being said, should an event occur where you do end up getting a shiny Pokemon, you can choose any Pokemon so long as it fits within our rules/fits within your team while abiding by the rules! Everyone will be given the chance to earn a shiny Pokemon at some point, but we’ll be limiting everyone to just one shiny per muse (so those with a shiny, or who end up earning one in the future will only ever be able to have one on their team at any given time)!
