Verdant wind is actually the copy paste route. An interview with the developers said that Silver snow was the first route they made
Okay, fine.Β Whatβs your point?
Aside from the fact that I find it incredibly rude for people to jump onto posts with the whole βWELL ACTUALLYβ preface (especially when theyβre citing non-canon sources like interviews that most people arenβt going to know about; if it doesnβt appear directly in the game, I couldnβt care less about it), the fact remains that Setethβs character is incredibly poorly served by the narrative of Silver Snow.Β I find it telling that when I played that route, I found numerous narrative elements jarring, illogical, or poorly rationalized, whereas they fit perfectly with Verdant Wind and Claudeβs particular knack for unorthodox tactics.Β Given how well that narrative line works for Claude and how poorly it works with Seteth, thereβs no reason why they couldnβt have gone back and made something wholly new and unique for him that lets his character shine, instead of forcing through a story that doesnβt work for the character at the heart of it.
