And I’m super glad you like my writing but honestly I feel like my stories and what-not are way better than the responses on the blog hahaha. 

But then -- I don’t spend months agonising over every single word of my responses.

Been a while since we talked! How have you been? I am doing good by whiling away my time watching kdramas 😁

Girllll Its okay not to be okay is on my list. The only thing is I have pseudo-watched it quite a bit on insta while it was on, I kinda have an idea about how it goes! I am waiting for the hype to die down so that I can enjoy it in it’s entirety....hopefully soon!

I love both Goblin and it’s okay that’s love!! Absolute favs!!

Till then tell me have you watched any other show? I recently finished something in the rain and I have developed a massive crush on Jung Hae In 😍

You liked the Charade updates??!! It’s been such a journey!! Look at where they are now, it blows my mind that this is the same story that started so painfully. Ugh they’re so cute, I love them.

Normally, I too am a sucker for 4 Lions stuff even though knowing the upcoming pitfalls, but right now coming off 2.5 years of watching IB, I’m exhausted with this BS (MULTIPLE universes and generations worth of it) and I couldn’t bring myself to watch yet another show of their’s. It looked to be the same patriarchal BS. Also the casting of the show is mehhhhhhh to me. Jasmin Bhasin is a little toooo cutesy for my taste, and the Sasta Damon Salvatore (that’s my name for him and I’m sticking to it.....) not appealing enough as a Hero. Also because the plus-sized, “good boy” brother was obviously bound to get screwed over in favour of the “good-looking” asshole; that much was obvious from the get-go; not like anything subversive was gonna happen this time round (like her falling for the good looking guy, but marrying the plus-sized guy and finding wholesome, healthy love with him. Now that I would maybe watch.) So all in all, this show has zero appeal for me and I’m not watching it. The promo just happened to pop up on my insta feed and I had to snark about it. 🙃🙃🙃

YES to everything you're saying. I can answer one of your questions though, even though I'm sure it was rhetorical, because I used to interview TV actors for a living. They are just SO FUCKING EXHAUSTED with their lives that they literally cannot function as human beings, so I think they just give up on sets and don't bother reading the material or pointing out discrepancies. Like, every time you ask a TV actor what change they'd like to bring in the industry, they say seasons because they just want to live like a human being again. They're so tired that they don't give a shit about content.

Yeah, I figured this was the case. In every single aspect, it’s just a sorry state of affairs the way the entire industry operates. This kinda nonsensical endless ‘need-to-put-an-episode-out-everyday’ concept is really to blame for all its evils. How the fuckkkkkk can there be sustained good writing if a show is to go on and on for thousands of episodes? There’s really no way to exercise any manner of quality control when the name of the game is quantity over any quality whatsoever. The sheer “lack of fucks to give” is apparent in all areas of the show (acting, writing, production values, etc.) once it crosses the 150, 200 episodes mark.

They have the promos up on Youtube as well. How interesting. My only suggestion is that they’re hoping to capture a slightly different audience this time around. Kind of like when the covers of books change mid-series to capture a different audience. They have Shrenu Parikh promoting it as well.
