I probably just sound like a crazy obsessed ex to you now, and I do apologize for that. It just sucks. You told me that neither one of us knows what love is. I know that I do. I waited almost 18 years for you to walk into my life. I did have other opportunities but they were not the one. Then, you came and swept me off my feet. Hard. My entire world revolves around you. You want to know the worst part? You are only 7 minutes away from me right now and I can't go to you. That is the worst thing. I miss you like nothing else, but I'm not mad at you. God, I could never be mad at you. All I want is the best for you. I really do. I want you to be happy. I want you to find that one person who can make you the happiest you can be. You deserve it. Even if it isn't me. I went on my first date with you, I had my first kiss with you, and I went on my first vacation with somebody other than my family with you. You were my first boyfriend. The first guy that I really and truly fell in love with. So, you say I don't know what love is, but I think I do. It is you and me at our best. I will always love you no matter what.
