Headcannon that Natsu thinks Lucy and him are going out.
He just asumed that once he told her they’d be together forever that they were now Together together.
Anyway, so Lucy doesn’t think they’re going out because she secretly wants him to ask her himself. She figures out he’s never going to ask her and she gathers up the courage and ask him on a date and that she wants to be his girlfriend and such.
Natsu’s like: But.. I thought we were already going out??
If this was cannon I’d die.
It probably is though 😂😂
