#please send prayers

I usually just use this for XIV things and art - but something has really changed the direction of my life the last few weeks. I promise after this, it’ll go back to normal content. (more explanation and photo under the cut) So...My mom’s been diagnosed with stage 4 breast and bone cancer, and they’ve given her a rough estimate of 6 months before it takes her.

I’m not asking for any financial help despite the fact we could use it. I am asking however, if you do have any belief in higher power, in god, gods, spirits, anything really - could you send some good will or prayers my moms way?

So I normally don't do this but I'm asking anyone and everyone for prayers.

My stepmother is... Oh my god, pure light. She's the maternal mother I should have had and she's the only woman in my life who has truly loved me for being me. In fact, I call her Mommy more than my real mother. To others she's Kassie or "M/N's Step mom" But to me she's my Bonus Mom.

I have two half sisters from my dad (one is from my stepmom) and one step sister thats from her. We all tease her that she never cut the umbilical cord from any of us and she's only given birth of two!

Now, she's always had medical problems: divaticulitis (if I'm even spelling that right) and cancer cells in her colon. These are very painful for her and she's been bed ridden from almost 10 years because her insurance sucks and they refuse to prescribe pain medicine.

I just learned from my dad that they found "bad" bacteria throughout her liver and the antibiotics they were trying to cure with it isn't working. They also found a rare blood disease that I can't pronounce let alone spell and another disease throughout her body that are both lethal.

I need prayers, please reblog.reblog.reblog and pass along the good vibes. This woman has such a big heart that her body cant contain the love in her body. She has more love in her pinkie finger than most have in their entire bodies. She's the reason I hate Cinderella movies because they give step moms a bad name, she's the reason I know how to treat my body with respect and love, she's the reason I have body positivity in my life and she's the reason I'm the maternal Mother to my children. She took a 5 year old scared little girl and turned her into a strong, independent, loving woman and I honestly don't know what I would do without her.

Her name is Kassie and she's the light in the dark part of my family's heart. She took my dad's broken heart and pieced it together with parts of her own. She brought a broken family together. She's always the one to get everyone to talk and laugh and love. She's literally the glue that keeps us together.

Please send prayers, thoughts, good vibes. Pray to whoever and whatever you believe in. Im spiritual not religious but my bonus mom is and we need all the help we can get.

I’m having surgery tomorrow and I’m freaking out. My anxiety has been through the roof about it and I’m getting really scared. I hate needles, I’m scared of the pain to follow, just all of it. All good vibes, thoughts and prayers are appreciated! I’m so ready for this to be over with so I can get back to a life of somewhat normalcy. Thank you, Taylor, for always being there for me with your music and all the random acts of kindness you have given me over the years! You mean the world to me! I’ll update you soon after surgery!
