So I’ve kind of been assuming (based on the frame story) that Denna and Kvothe are going to date/be in a romantic/sexual relationship at some point, but I also kind of assumed if they dated, it blew up in a really nasty break up (just look at when she played him her song, they utterly fail at communication). But if this did happen, then why is Kote still smitten with her? Did they never date and is she “the one who got a way”? Did they get together and did she just disappear? Did she (God forbid) die?
