Hey, @markiplier . I just love you. Please don't leave us. Ever. Okay?..
I know it's kinda late and no one's really awake, but I just wanted to say.. you're amazing, okay? You're wonderful and amazing and talented and beautiful and you are so so loved. I know the bad can pile up and it can seem like a lot and it can seem like there's nothing but bad in the world, but I promise you that's not true.
There's so much beauty in this world. So many little moments of happiness and joy that make the world so much brighter. There's never just darkness. Just look a little closer. A friend's smile, a pretty flower, a sleeping dog, a laughing baby, a colorful sunset, a favorite show, a new movie, a post that makes you happy, a snack you've never had before. There's so much in this world. It's never all bad. Please, please just look a little closer. I love you. So please, just take a deep breath and look for the light. I promise you you'll find it.
you really have to be careful. living life is about enjoying yourself and making connections. it's giving yourself a purpose and a reason to get up and start the day. obviously, it's not living otherwise. but just. step lightly on the delicate sheet on ice, spread thinly across the lake that is loneliness. crack after horrifying crack, silent or deafening, you're allowing a danger to your very being. to become too comfortable where you are isn't safe. it gives the ground an opportunity to give way beneath you, and before you can react, you find yourself drowning in a frigid and unforgiving darkness. it'll leave you numb, ripping away a lack of anything but the shock and sickness and the icy cold horror of reality seeping deep into your once rich veins. your body wants to keep you alive, it tries desperately to grip on to what made you function in the first place. the ice is too much like the pointed end of a million blades, clawing mercilessly at your skin. it's almost impossible to save yourself. But when you do, another wave comes. it's not cold. it's not hot either, but you'll find your once lifeless limbs beginning to stir again. the blood returns, but only gradually. the other side of reality's coin. the head to the tails, the calculated brain to the torn and distressed heart. a rational thought. It's at that point that it's crucial to remember something. Dynamics. Ebbs and flows. Faulty connections. Tears in cords you patched up with cheap bandaids in hopes that it'll hold up just fine. At the back of your mind you were always aware of the outcome. It reared its ugly head many times, only to be stomped on frantically...but it was there. It'll come back and, when that happens, you'll have your back turned. Your boots aren't capable of stepping on it when it's more than just a bust. Because it's already a torso. A waist. A leg and a foot and a readied fist, grasping tightly on to an excessively long dagger pressed to your spine. This is when you must reevaluate. Make friends with the third party perspective in your mind. It waited too, with your common sense and self respect. Believe what it says. It's your only constant, prepared with the lifeboat full of support on the cold watery abyss you fear. It rides the lukewarm wave, coming to your rescue.
was re-watching Alex Strangelove today when I made this connection to Everything Sucks:

I always forget Ant Man plays the Jim of Night Of The Museum.
Why does this sound like a Swan Queen fic?
