Play Academy, which @NaomiOsaka created with Nike and Laureus Sport for Good, aims to improve young girlsβ lives by boosting their access and participation to sport. The program draws inspiration from Osaka's own experiences as an athlete. There will be two locations of the school. In Los Angeles, Play Academy seeks to partner with organizations from the Black, Asian and Latino communities. Grant applications are currently open and the first group of partners will be announced later this summer.
