Hello. I'm kinda new to this blog and I got curious on what got you into shipping these two meme gremlins. Also, what do you think got them together?
i was obsessed with this ship when i was like 14.
in reality through the comic, the relationship wouldn't work just because karkat is a huge ass when he's first introduced and is just super rude to nepeta, while nepeta has an over idealistic childhood crush on a guy who's just an ass.
the ship was mainly just enjoying the concept of a huge grump letting their barriers down to let someone in, that someone being a playful beacon of sunshine. also its a comforting idea that nepeta gets what she wants because shes a pretty tragic character who never really got the spotlight.
nowadays I'm a grown ass adult that pays bills and stuff but idk i was half awake when making this account. i recently got back into homestuck and saw the dakidavekat on twittert. i just wanted to try doing a little exercise where i draw my childhood ship every day, forcing me to be creative and try do draw characters interacting more.

The main message behind Wandersong is happiness, love, and togetherness.
But it's not super cheesy!
it's a little cheesy
It somewhat challenges the usual storyline that you see repeated over and over (trust me, you'll see what I mean, but I have to keep it spoiler-free)
It recognizes the negatives in life, but also gives a warm feeling that everything will be alright.
Okay look it's just sweet as hell and I was smiling like an idiot the whole time I love it.

In conclusion, Wandersong is a great game, made by amazing Indie developers, with representation and a wholesome storyline. You should totally play it, it's made me smile and laugh so much!
