8 hours of marching from dusk to dawn. 24km. Thank you dear friends and my parents for coming down to support me 😊✌️ Tbh, on 3rd Feb 2015, I entered the army with an uneasy feeling, afraid, paranoid. Though it had not been easy, this short period of basic military training had showed me how important it is for groups of people to work together, how important it is to be disciplined and possess that sense of urgency when needed and lastly, how important it is to appreciate and love our loved ones and this piece of tiny island we call home. 🏠 Selfishness, anger, frustration and many other aspects are the negative takeaways that I have learnt to better handle and take control with in my time here. While it may have been hard at times, I am thankful for the best platoon mates and section mates who stood by my side 😁 when I am at my worst 😞 and the best commanders for not just teaching us the ropes but actually going through all these parts and parcels of BMT with us. In the blink of an eye, 9 weeks went past and here we are, finding ourselves at the crossroad 🚦where we must part. 😣 I finally understood why everyone said BMT is the best moment you must treasure. While we may be allocated to different vocations, you guys will always remain close to my heart in the years to come.😊 "Brothers in arms, brothers proud to be" 👬💪💥 ▪️BMT milestone✔️ Dear Ulysses, Company of Spartan warriors, thank you. #ulysses #bestcompany #platoon3 #bestplatoon #section1 #bestsection (at The Float at Marina Bay)
