            The din resounding from Metro Man’s last punch was still ringing in his ears as he fought to heave himself up out of the pile of rubble said aforementioned blow had so gracelessly deposited him in. Of course, it hadn’t been a pile of rubble when he’d landed on it -- it had been a particularly solid brick wall, that had subsequently become a pile of bricks and mortar when his body had struck it doing mock ten. There were definitely a few cracked ribs, he discerned as he dragged himself up from the destruction and attempted to straighten his cowl, but he had no time to nurse them. Metro Man would undoubtedly be hot in pursuit, as he had to figure out a plan to escape. The synapses of his impressive brain were firing off at a mile a minute -- 

            -- and then they were suddenly silenced as he began to take in his surroundings for the first time since his unconventional landing. He had to ascertain where he was before he could Macguyver a plan to get away from there, but ...the genius found himself stunned as he turned about, soaking up all of the veritable plethora of technology littering the warehouse. Glowing dials, ray guns -- was that a blueprint for a death laser in the corner?? His dark brows furrowed in confusion as his gaze raked over the oddly familiar and yet totally foreign layout of this place. 

“I’ll admit-- this is my first time being kidnapped by a woman.” She sighed, quite used to this role life had thrown at her-- but none the happy with it. At least Megamind was predictable. But this new villainess was anything but. Certainly Metro Man would be on his way to save her-- but for now she had time to get to know her captor.
