Tane is so used to living on his own that he pretends to be annoyed by the antics of his friends (particularly Andres). It's a habit he picked up from the hunter who raised him. Previously it used to push him further into isolation, but Andres and Asha and Lukas don't seem put off by it. Slowly he's starting to realize he doesn't *want* to push them away. He wants to pull them closer, he's just not sure how to do it.
!!!!I love Tane and so does Andres!! He’s definitely not put off by it and actually really admires Tane and is thankful to have him both on his team/in his life. I think he said in one of the games that he would follow wherever Tane goes SO THE LOVE IS ALREADY THERE IF HE WANTS TO GET CLOSER, ALL HE HAS TO DO IS WALK INTO ANDRES’S BIG, BEEFY ARMS. And then they can have more discussions about biology. <3
