I've wanted to do this photo for years now. My dad made my mom a flower press so long ago. When my mom moved and didn't take it I started carrying it around. It's a cool idea to press flowers, and the thought of all the samples saved? Yes please. When I opened it tonight I was awed at the newspapers from 1995. There were notes about so many plants in my mom's handwriting, but almost no plants... This is not a small press and I looked between each stack of cardboard. Did you know Reno needed a temp librarian in '95? It's true. I found four samples. Three are in the picture with all the info I have of them.
