Plant Xyz Synchro! So with the release of Crane Crane and Fortune Tune, and the upcoming release of new synchros, namely Balmung, Knight of the Evil World and Psychiconductor Behemoth, and the new earth/plant xyz Melia the Ashwood Nymph, I built a new sort of rank 3 xyz/plant synchro deck. Or at least as close to a plant synchro deck i could get lol. If only Glow-Up Bulb would come back. Anyway, the star players here are Crane Crane Dandylion, Genex Ally Birdman, and Debris Dragon. Crane Crane can special summon Dandylion from the graveyard, and then when you xyz with the two, Dandylion generates tokens upon being detached. Then, if you have a Birdman in hand, you can bounce the Crane Crane back and repeat. Plus Birdman doesn't get banished if he becomes XYZ material, and Crane Crane doesn't keep the monster he summons from being used as synchro material like Tour Guide does. Debris Dragon has tons of non-tuner targets, which is why he works so well. He can special summon Dandylion, Crane Crane, Night Assailant, Lonefire Blossom, and Maxx "C." Then, obviously, spore is a great card, and he (or Dandylion) can be sent to the graveyard by Melia to get the deck running. Problems with the deck include limited extra deck space, and it gets hit really hard by hand traps. Obviously my build isn't perfect. it probably doesn't need Upstart Goblins and might be better off with some traps instead (but its nice not having a lot of back row so you can Black Rose). Then the Trags and DAD (Birdman stays in grave a lot of the time) are pretty optional, but i like them. You should try the deck and make a better build than mine. Let's bring synchros back! :D

I'm not going to go through a match by match basis, but I will give these thoughts:
I knew TKRO was weak against the Inzektor matchup, but I figure that there weren't going to be THAT many people that are gonna get the cards in time, and that people were still going to run Agents/Dark World/Plants, and the card was still good in the Windup matchup. Sadly I saw mostly Inzektors the entire day.
I ended up completely unsatisfied with my side. Instead of worrying about matchups, I should have but more anti-side cards. Mainly backrow hate. Probably Rykos and something else.
D.D. Crow sucked and always drew it too late
So did Chain Disapperance. Especially against Inzektors when the one time it went off, it was countered by a TGU --> Leviair --> Centipede play.
Last minute, I went -1 Econ +1 Fiendish Chain. I don't regret dropping to 1 Econ because it was dead a good amount of the time, but I didn't like the 3rd Fiendish, ended up dead drawing it too much.
Fuck D. Fissure
Rabbits where everywhere and even with main decked Chains, I think it's a shit matchup in general for Plants.
It honestly didn't hit me until yesterday how much Plants suck right now
So many D. Fissures everywhere...
Regionals Next Saturday
No fucking idea what I want to run yet.
Most likely gonna be either Agents or Plants, though I'm also leaning towards Hero Beat
