First attempt at a German tank! The camo is quite hard to get right - my understanding is that they were sprayed dunkelgelb in the factory and then they gave crews green and brown pigments which they painted on themselves, resulting in a wide variety of patterns and sprayed, faded effect for the camo stripes which continues to confuse modellers to this day

My dad is going through the vaults of the ancient macintosh computer we had till 2001 and apparently this is a little story I wrote when I was 6. Impressive grasp of aircraft on the Eastern Front, less impressive grasp of spelling or paragraphs. It is fun to find out I am basically still the same person

First set of tiny Germans done. I'd been putting off the Germans as they looked a bit more challenging than the Russians but they turned out pretty well for a first try. Funnily enough the one I thought was going to be the most difficult (the camo cloak guy) turned out the best. Looking forward to tackling the rest of them!

I built this incredibly ancient model kit from 1965 today, I have no idea how but I'm determined to make this tooling look pretty

Really enjoying this litte Flames of War art project I've got going. I was lucky enough to be able to play with a 3D printer for a lot of the Christmas period and got to make some very cool stuff. I've printed a small Russian village for a Kursk themed diorama and a large ruined building for a Stalingrad setup. I painted one of the village houses up and it looks great. Painting the little guys has been a blast too
