Sup Sonic Lovers?
Today on the table, we have the one and only Plaitwrights - a duo between rapper Xylk Lorena and singer Angela Abrenica. Plaitwrights has been in the Toronto music scene for quite some time, with their debut album, Jane’s Dad’s Cadillac, released this year.
They are definitely known for their amalgamation of different genres of music. “Saccharine”, a kind of Western sounding melancholy, is accompanied by the video above.
The concept of the video is absolutely creative, having the two main characters (Plaitwrights) robbing a house, yet they portray it in a way where they are in a candy shop.
