God, why did Shane ever agree to come to this? Fiona wouldnât have it any other way, that was for certain. Shane wasnât in the business of telling her no either. He did the bare minimum too. He wasnât even wearing a suit. Just a dress shirt and tie and some combat boots. He wasnât really looking for âloveâ anyway. The only girl he wanted he wasnât man enough to go out an get. So, he stood in the corner and drank. And drank and drank and drank. The alcohol was really starting to get to him by the time someone accidentally brushed their shoulder against his. âHey, watch it!â Shane growled as he grabbed the man. âCanât you see Iâm standing here?!â Had he had a few less drinks in him he might be slightly less aggressive. But Shane wasnât known to be tame even when sober.
