My only problem with Paradise Lost
The love story just didn't sit well with me. I know that the movie takes place all within a few years, but when Maria & Nick first met, it went from Hi, can I have a class of water to 'Lets get married!'...what? It just felt rushed and at times very forced.
Like, you have one conversation and then she shows up the next day and BAM, you're passionately in love?Â
Then, in the blink of an eye you're getting married? jfc. It was all just very fast.
I do give Claudia props because she did a lot better than I thought she would have and it wasn't all that hard to understand her.
The first half of the movie felt like it was dragging on and then THE SECOND HALF I was sitting on the edge of my seat.
The movie was still fucking awesome in my opinion and Josh fucking killed it. His acting skills still amaze me, he's just great. He managed to make me feel so many things, I felt as if I was in the movie and ready to fight for my life. So yeah, it was awesome.
So, my brother didn't like the movie.
I do have one question about the movie,
What the fuck.
