Annabeth simping is very interesting because she’s not as public about it as Percy is. It’s secret simping. Only Piper and Silena call her out on being a simp. There is one (1) teen rated joke about seggs at the end.

Watching Percy train is a death wish. She can spar with him. She can train with him. She cannot watch him train while doing homework.

Annabeth: so log base 10 of 36 is equal to.....

Percy: *does a flip while throwing his sword at a dummy, which is impaled*

Annabeth: guhhhhh

Does not understand the dam jokes but Percy loves them and if nobody laughs he gets this wistful look in his eye with a tint of sadness so she always laughs her ass off

Percy: *doing a math problem about the amount of water the Hoover Dam processes, whispering* I have to finish this dam homework

Annabeth: *from across the room* HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAhahahahahahahhahahahhahahahahaha

I know these are simp head cannons but nothing makes Annabeth simp for Percy like him wearing glasses. 

Percy: Hey, Annie? Have you seen my contacts?

Annabeth: *who took them out of his medicine cabinet and into a drawer* no, sorry.

Percy: guess I’ll wear my glasses today

In addition, Percy’s hair >>>>, she loves it, she's obsessed with it. Especially when it gets long. 

Percy: *napping on a couch, any couch, anywhere*

Annabeth: *with an arm full of scrunchies she has collected from all of her friends* my time has come

Just to switch to platonic simping for a sec, she also had a deep obsession with Silena’s hair which lasted almost a decade. She would do almost anything for Silena’s hair and was always watching out for it.

Silena: It’s a bit humid out today, huh?

Annabeth: *thinking about how it will frizz her hair and how Silena doesn’t care for that* Let’s hang out in the big house!

Silena: But we have archery

Annabeth: *dragging Silena away* Big House!

She would do a lot to see Percy smile. And once she’s older and realizes that a lot of his smiles are fake/that he has different smiles, this increases ten-fold. (She’s a horrible cook)

Annabeth: *who noticed Percy’s been kinda sad the last few days and woke up at the ass crack of dawn to make him pancakes*

Percy: Are you... covered in flour?

Annabeth: ...no. Totally unrelated but, I made pancakes!

Percy: *breaks down laughing*

Whenever Percy does something smooth she freezes for a few seconds. Which is not convenient, as his ability to be smooth only increases the older he gets.

Kelli the Emposai: Fuck you, Perseus Jackson.

Percy: Do it yourself, coward. *winks*

Annabeth: *frozen on the spot*

Percy: Oh Annabeth I’m so sorry that was out of line I–

Annabeth: Shut up I love you *kisses him while Kelli watches* I’ll do it for her

oh wow. you greatly overestimate my simpage knowledge, but I too would simp for Percy, so I’ll do my best. (honestly this is just some of my percabeth hcs that involve them being completely whipped for each other, as they should be) This is also a sliding scale on how well Annabeth can function at different amounts of simping.

Part of simping for Percy is being ready to absolutely destroy people who are mean to him, because he refuses to stand up for himself, and the older she gets, the more seriously Annabeth takes this job.

Random Camper: *talking quietly to their friend, unlucky because Annabeth is passing by* I mean when you think about it, Percy didn’t actually improve things around here at all. Our parents haven’t gotten better

Annabeth: *jumping in* OH! And that was supposed to be his job? He risked his life just trying to get the gods to listen! He was fucking kidnapped! It’s not like he could fucking force the gods to keep their promise!

Percy! Is! So! Kind! She thought it was annoying when they were little kids but now she unapologetically loves it. Except when it causes him to let people walk all over him. But she continuously finds herself speechless at what he does for other people.

Annabeth: *looking through the Jacksons’ cabinets for instant coffee* Oh, Chamomile tea, does your mom drink this?

Percy: Nope. I keep it for Nico when he stays over and can’t sleep. What movie do you want to watch?

Annabeth: *choking up, making heart eyes, staring at the box of tea in her hand* Oh, thats nice.

Percy has really thick eyelashes. Like Annabeth-can’t-come-close-with-ten-layers-of-mascara lashes. It’s those Jackson genes man, he gets ‘em straight from his mama. And Annabeth is in love with them. And jealous

Annabeth: *coming in from the snow with Percy, staring at him, unmoving*

Percy: What?

Annabeth: *walking swiftly towards him and kissing his eyes, whispering* snowflakes

Percy is most definitely a secret science nerd. It takes Annabeth seven years to learn this about him. But it also takes him a while to get to take the classes he’s interested in, so it balances out. Annabeth.exe crashes whenever she sees her boyfriend talk about science.

Annabeth: *sighing heavily from the couch, slaving over chem homework*

Percy: Whats up?

Annabeth: This work. I’m stuck.

Percy: *leaning over the couch*  You need to balance the formula before you can simplify it property. That should be Na with a subscript of 2 because each oxygen atom has a charge of negative two. 

Annabeth: ...how. you knew? know. 

Percy: I took that class last year when I doubled up on my science courses. The work was a lot of fun but I wanted to take advanced chem and bio before I graduate so i had to do both of the basic courses before junior year. A real shape too, because now they have physiology as well, but I can’t take it senior year. 

Annabeth: you did.w̴͔̘̪̫̮̑ḩ̶̉̕ā̷͓̊̌͘t̴̾̎͜?̴̝̒̽̉̓͊̋

Annabeth’s simp levels explode when she realizes that at some time when she wasn’t paying attention Piper and Percy became really close friends. Her best friend. And her boyfriend. They are the worst and best when they’re together.

Piper: *teaching Percy a tiktok dance while she waits for her lesson to start*

Annabeth: *frozen in place. Watching her best friend, who is objectively pretty, and her boyfriend, twerking*

Piper: *stops dancing, points* Annabethhhhhh! Ahahahaha! We broke her.

Okay yes, greek kids of the big three coming right up (I'm programmed for angst but i tried to limit it)(other thing that’s funny is that im working on hcs for Percy, Reyna, Hazel, and Frank right now too)

They all pretty much call each other their cousins, but Thalia really likes to call Percy and Nico “cuz” independently because she thinks it’s the most annoying thing in the world and she likes to say it ironically. (The irony has been lost. It’s been lost for a really really long time)

Thalia: Hey cuz!

Percy: Hi Thals.

Thalia: See, “cuz.” It’s so stupid it’s funny.

Percy: *weak laugh* yeah... funny

They were all sent reeling after Bianca’s death. Nico of course ran off and became emo. But Thalia shoved herself into the hunters, barely giving a thought to Nico and Percy because it was too painful. She essentially cut communication between her and Percy for 3-6 months, and only started talking to him again after Mt. St. Helens. Percy shut himself up with guilt and spent all of his time looking for Nico so he could ‘repay his debt’ It wasn’t really a good time for anyone.

What Thalia is not saying: sorry for making you take the prophecy

What Percy is not saying: I feel like I killed Bianca

Nico likes to call Mrs. O’Leary his dog even though she is very clearly Percy’s. They argue about it all the time, but it’s all in good fun.

Nico: See, I’m her favorite. She can sense the darkness

Percy: You have all the darkness of a rainbow. Watch this. Mrs. O’Leary!

*Mrs. O’Leary comes bounding over to Percy where she immediately flops onto her stomach and waits for Percy to pet her belly*

In fact, Thalia is the only one of them who doesn’t like Mrs. O’Leary. Something Percy and Nico take great advantage of. They like to shadow travel Mrs. O’Leary directly into the center of the Hunters’ camps when Thalia is close by and scare her. She accidentally stabbed herself once because of it.

Thalia: So I went over to pick up my shield, because I love my shield you see, and then they appeared like ‘blarghhh’

Thalia would never admit it, but she’s scared shitless of Percy when he gets really mad. She often thinks about that time he lifted the whole creek of water and ice above her head, and thinks it’s really cool, but she’s also terrified of ever having to fight him in any real capacity. 

Percy: Hey look, I learned how to make daggers out of ice

Thalia: ah, cool

None of them like fast-food from the same place. And Percy’s the only one who can drive. He’s too nice to make them all go to his pick though, even if they argue a lot. 

Thalia and Nico: McDonalds! McDonalds! McDonalds!

Percy *pulling up to the drive through*: one black coffee

Jokes on them because coffee makes Percy super tired so he basically traps them. No but seriously, Nico likes McDonalds, Percy likes Wendy’s, and Thalia likes Burger King. Percy drives around to all of their respective locations while Thalia blasts music and Nico hangs in the middle seat poking at them. They sit on the roof of some building and eat together.

Together they form some version of a holy trinity. Thalia = lesbian, Nico = gay, Percy = bi. You are never safe.

Actually they have a lot of overlap, kind of like a Venn diagram. Powers, music they like, it’s kinda funny. 

Random camper: So which one of you can control the earth?

Percy and Nico: *both raise their hands slowly*

Random camper: And which one of you can change the temperature?

Nico and Thalia: *slowly raise their hands*

Random camper: Great, and which one of you can sense and control the weather?

Percy and Thalia: *both raise their hands*

They are not allowed to spar together. Percy and Thalia especially. Emotions run high. Both Percy and Thalia can spar with Nico, but they can’t go all three of them either. The last time all three of them trained together a hill split down the middle, flowers from a certain patch now only grow black, and a big streak of plants were burned. 

Percy, drawing water from an underground spring and turning the very soil under Thalia’s feet to quicksand and forming a giant puddle: Sorry, I can’t hear you from up here!

Nico, shadow traveling Percy into the same trap: What was that you said about being ‘up here’?

Thalia, conjuring a bolt of electricity, shocking them all: hmm?

Percy is the tallest out of the three of them, and rather than fight it like Thalia did at the beginning, they accept it and make him being the tallest as inconvenient as possible for him. They make sure things are on the highest shelf so he has to get them down. They climb on him like a jungle gym.

Nico, sitting on Percy’s shoulders: Could you pass me a juice box?

Thalia, latched onto Percy’s back: Sure.

The counselor Percy is having a very important conversation with: uhh

Sally first meets Carter when she gets back from one of her night classes and the two are asleep on the couch with the tv on

Percy wakes up first and gingerly pulls himself out from under Carter and goes into the kitchen to greet his mom

“Jeez mom we’re just friends” At this point they’re something a little more but they haven't talked about it yet.

Carter wakes up and joins them in the kitchen, Sally asks a lot of questions (not in an interrogator way tho)

Carter is uncertain how to answer some, but he looks at Percy who gives him a small nod so he tells Sally that he’s a magician and about the Egyptian gods

Percy thinks Carter is selling himself short and so he butts in every once in a while: “Stop saying that, you are literally the Pharaoh.” “You’ve had a god inside your head, I couldn’t deal with that.”

They have their first kiss when Percy gets first place at a swim meet

Sally and Paul leave before they do to give them some space

Percy is the last to leave the building because he showers there to save his mom the money

As he and Carter are about to leave a few monsters attack

The fight is pretty quick because Percy’s right next to a pool. And Carter’s there so there’s teamwork.

For their second kiss they are both covered in monster dust, and Carter is sopping wet, and they’re both a little sweaty but it’s nice.

They kinda hold hands on the way back to Percy’s apartment, but only when there aren’t a lot of people on the street.

When Carter gets back to the Nome he immediately goes and tells Sadie what happened and he can’t stop smiling the next day.

When Percy gets home he goes and Iris Messages Annabeth and dances around a bit.

They don’t announce their relationship or anything so it takes an absurdly long time for some people to find out *cough* Piper *cough*

She thinks that they’re just pining really hard but after a month she walks in on them kissing in a dark corner.

“What are you doing?” “Kissing my boyfriend?” “Oh, carry on”

Things are kind of weird between them after the Giant War. Jason takes Leo’s death hard, as expected, and Thalia isn’t exactly the best at dealing with grief. She’s never lost someone in the same way, because she’s the one who essentially died, and the other people she’s know who've died she hasn’t known for very long. She tries to comfort him but isn’t very good at it.

They have this added complication of being siblings but also not really knowing each other. Thalia’s picture of Jason is still the two year old, and it’s really hard for her to try to learn about this Jason, because she thinks she already knows him. Jason, for his effort, had virtually no idea of Thalia before Hera (because 2 y/o’s don’t usually remember stuff that clearly) so he’s doing considerably better.

Thalia: Soooo, model airplanes, am I right?

Jason: You listen to Green Day right? I listened to that song you said you liked, I can see why. (proceeds to talk about the lyrics)

No but seriously, they do sort things out between themselves. (I’m pretending they have more opportunities to spend time with each other than they do in cannon) A continuing argument they have is who is the oldest sibling. Thalia says her (chronologically), and Jason says him (physically). They often rope other people in to take sides, unfortunately it’s still an even split. 

Nico: I say Jason! 

Percy: It’s obviously Thalia.

Annabeth: Yeah, Thalia.

Piper: Oh come on! Look at him! He’s older.

Thalia takes her position as ‘cringe older sibling’ in great stride. She has experience, acting in this manner for Annabeth and Luke, as well as some of the younger hunters. She also has a wee bit of super strength from time to time, via Artemis, which enables some of her favorite activities, like: picking Jason up, throwing Jason, and giving him nougies so hard it makes his head hurt. 

Jason: Haha! You already used your burst of strength today! You can’t grab me!

She also enjoys teasing Jason relentlessly. Including: telling him his girlfriend is hot (he knows), pointing out when Percy does something cool (distracts him), and openly flirting with Reyna (causing both him and Reyna to turn red). When she’s flirting around Jason she uses bad pick up lines. When she flirts on her own she is much more smooth.

Thalia, watching Jason watching Percy do a front flip off a wall: Well look at Jackson, all grown up. Anywaysssss. [To Reyna who was walking by] Hey girl, I could help you undo your armor.

Jason and Reyna: *turn as red as a tomato*

One thing you’d never expect for them to have in common is that they are both sticklers for the rules. They apply them differently, though. Thalia will follow any actual rules, specific instructions. While Jason follows a lot of implied rules. They argue about these rules occasionally, but ultimately agree.

Thalia: Technically, if I’m following rules to the letter, I don’t have to register this monster.

Jason: Principle tells us that we should register the monster anyway.

(Ignoring cannon and giving everyone phones) They text a lot. And, a lot of it is worthless. Like seriously, it’s just Jason saying goodnight and Thalia sending twelve memes about wolves in a row. They both really do love wolves though. And on this track, they also buy each other lots of wolf stuffed animals.
