13 YEARS OF THE MENTALIST

On the 23rd of September, 2008, the Mentalist premiered for the first time on TV. @tmsource is inviting all fans of the show to celebrate this anniversary by hosting its very own month creator challenge. 

Rules 

There is a 6-day prompt list, but as stated above, the event will run for a month, from 23rd of August to 23rd of September, and so you can choose to participate any day you want — that means that a) you can start the challenge any time of the month you want, and b) that once you start it, you don’t have to fulfill all the prompts in 6 consecutive days, but rather any 6 days of the month. 

Fan content of all types will be welcomed: edits, gifs, fanart or fanfics. 

As you will notice, there are multiple themes for each day. You can choose any one of the three and not necessarily all three. This is done in order to inspire all kinds of creators: gifmakers, artists and fic writers alike, and also in order to satisfy equally those who want simple ideas and those who crave for more complex/creative ones. 

Feel free to make your own interpretations of each theme! 

Prompt list

day 1  —  beloved character / song lyrics / revenge

day 2  —  beloved episode / parallels / grief

day 3  —  beloved (romantic or platonic) dynamic / alternate universe / humor

day 4  — beloved scene / cbi or fbi / social media 

day 5  — beloved quote / faceless / wisdom

day 6  — a character who deserved better or an underrated character / colors / hope

Also, make sure to state the prompt you’re posting for somewhere in the caption. Late contributions will also be accepted, so don’t worry about falling behind in schedule.
