I’m learning to be okay with the thought that you will look at another girl with the eyes that used to lock on me in room full of people.

I learned that it’s okay not to be okay, but is it okay the way I think at 3 am when I’m all alone crying in my room? Is it okay to wish I never woke up the next day because it would be easier than waking up and painting a smile on my face? Is it okay to cry on the train because there is too many people and I feel like I’m trapped in a box? Is it okay to hate myself so much that I begin to think I would rather be someone else? Is it okay that my education system is teaching me how to write an essay and read a graph, but not teaching me how to deal with those dark nights, or the way I should see my flaws and love them as they are? Is it okay that being physically sick is significantly more appropriate to tell my parents than saying I’m mentally ill? This is not okay.
