So tell us a little bit about yourself, Ellen. Why have you decided to enter this Bachelorette Challenge?
Well, my name is Ellen, of course, I’m 23 and I’m from St Clare. I decided to join the Bachelorette because I’ve watched so many over the years that it seemed like a lot of fun. I’ve never been that lucky in love so I figured, why not give it a shot. Even if I don’t win then at least I’ll be able to say I did it and hopefully I’ll make some new friends along the way!
Here’s hoping for you. Now, tell me, how do you like to relax?
Hmm, well, I won’t lie, I can get quite tightly wound. I’ll want to check and check and check this that and the next thing so I’m absolutely sure everything is how it should be. And if I have any doubts then it just niggles away at the back of my mind. You know? So, when I get the chance I like to curl up and read and lose myself in some other world. My favourites are usually adventure stories. My Dad used to read me The Hobbit a lot as a kid, it was my favourite. I also like to volunteer at the local cat shelter a couple of days a week. Growing up we had loads of cats but my landlord won’t let me have any, which sucks so much, so I get my furry fix at the shelter!
What would you like to say to Ingrid to get her to pick you?
I’m the perfect person for any kind of mood. You want to go crazy and party? I’m your girl. You want to chill out and watch Netflix? I’m your girl. If ou’re feeling a bit down then I’ll move heaven and earth to make you feel better whether that means making you soup or buggering off for a little while then I’ll do it.
