It’s been over a couple of months and Mint and Aiden are spending every second possible with one another. He’s even got a toothbrush at her place and a couple of drawers for his clothes. When they’re not spending all day together, Mint is at work and Aiden is working on his book. Her friends have been missing her and tired of just talking through text every now and then. Eliza decided it was time to just show up at Mint’s door once she was home from work and convinced her to come out. It took a bit of convincing since Mint hates being away from Aiden, but Eliza got through to her. So Mint got ready and the two were off to meet the other girls. A couple of hours of girl talk was exactly what Mint was missing. She did miss her friends and only had the urge to talk to Aiden a few times before the juice on the rocks set in and her and the girls got on the dance floor and showed everyone their moves. A little after midnight and Mint and Eliza were still in party mode and decided to do karaoke together. The night ended with Eliza calling a cab to take them all home and Mint thanking the her for making her go out. “That’s what friends are for,” said Eliza.

First Official Date it had been a couple of weeks since Mint and Aiden first kissed. Ever since, they were inseparable. Anytime Mint wasn’t at work she was with Aiden. Anytime Aiden wasn’t writing his book, he was with Mint. Things were perfect. They were spending so much time at one another’s place, that they finally picked a night to go out on their first official date. An upscale restaurant was where Aiden wanted to take Mint. Nothing but the best for this girl he was falling head over heels for. The ambiance was romantic and was exactly what they needed to kick them into making their relationship official. The way they looked at one another all through dinner, everyone could tell they were so in lust with one another. While eating dinner and talking about whether they were going to Mint’s afterwards or Aiden’s place, he finally said it. He finally asked her to be his girlfriend. Mint looked at him with so much happiness in her eyes, smiled and told him, “about time.” 

It’s Saturday morning and Mint has the weekend off. All she can think about is how the connection between her and Aiden is so strong. After breakfast she heads to the shower and as she’s stepping out and finishing up getting dressed her cell phone rings. It’s Aiden. He wants her to come over so they can hangout. TOGETHER. ALONE. Of course Mint agrees, she quickly heads over and as she knocks on his front door, the butterflies are fluttering more and more. He asked her in. They greet with a hug and then he asked if she would like to play video games. Mint agrees. She hasn’t played much, but what the heck, this will be fun. Soon after the first game Mint is kicking Aiden’s butt and she wins. “Beginnger’s luck,” he says. Mint laughs and she’s feeling brave enough to move a bit closer to Aiden. She whispers to him how much she’s been thinking about him lately.He reciprocates that he’s been thinking about her lately as well. They lay together on the couch talking about their dreams, plans for the future, for what seems like minutes, but last a couple hours. As Mint gets up to leave, Aiden puts his hands under her cheek caressing her face, telling her how much he wishes this day could last forever. At that exact moment, Mint leaped in and with every bit of passion she had, she kissed him. Aiden kissed her back. The kissed lasted for minutes and when they came up for air, he whispered to her, “about time.”
