Just like the wondrous few moments Delsin got to witness, all the hues of blue and white glitching static across the pitfall ground when he took his first trip into Seattle, he gets to see them again only...just only...there was nothing awe worthy about this moment.
Blood, was the first sign Delsin knew something was wrong, and the dead body that came with it. Bent and curled in ways that just made the corpse look all the more inhuman, they stood no chance. And in his mind, oh, his mind begged so hard for the reason behind this all not to be him. Not like this. Because there was a purposely left trail, the flickering blue video lights. It was to be his one and only evidence, his calling card.
"Eugene..." Delsin glares down, hard at the body and glow surrounding it, "This can't be--"
Standing around wasn't going to get him answers, simply put, Delsin makes a break for it by following the lights he had left. Maybe deliberately left, but there were plenty, graciously even, left bodies along the way. Always in the same condition as the last.
Delsin was letting himself hang on false hope now, a surreal like feeling of denial engulfing him. But he trust his calm composure to stay true, once he enters the heart of it all, into a dark, run down building. There had to be a reason behind all this senselessness.
