Why I Freaking Love Coco
I found out why I'm in love with Coco.
One, the visuals are amazing, two, the characters are even more amazing, three, the MUSIC
Like, the characters have actual personality. And I know what you're thinking "oooh all movie characters have personality" and no, I mean REALISTIC personality. You can see how Miguel is terrified right before going up to perform, but he comes out of his shell and enjoys himself. They also have motives for what they do, and Hector is a prime example of this. He probably has the most character development of the whole movie next to Ernesto.
And the movie is so realistic and down to Earth in a way. Yes, it shows the land of the dead and includes walking, talking, singing skeletons, but there's not just one message. There's multiple.
Sieze your moment, Family is important, follow your dreams, but don't let that get in the way of your family. Don't judge a book by it's cover... Etc etc.  The designs of everything are absolutely spectacular. The designs on the skeleton’s skulls are all unique, and the effort gone into the structures and look of the land of the dead are AMAZING. The animation is flawless. There is so much talent in both the Spanish AND English versions of Coco it’s so great aaaa....
THIS MOVIE DESERVES SO MUCH MORE RESPECT THAN IT’S RECIEVED SO FAR
