"You are my gravity. No matter how far I wander into the dark, I am always pulled back into your orbit." — Unknown
So am I ,from Frank's perspective, his boyfriend's boyfriend ?
bother robby about his boyfriend
"You... would... have to ask Frank..?"
⫸TXT ➟ GTB⫷ 3:44am : Must be really nice to be a monitor in the ED...
[text] Jackalope: Exactly how little sleep have you had and how bored are you right now?
[text] Jackalope: Do I need to carry your stubborn ass to nap again? Because I will - witnesses and all. Hell , I'll even do it bridal style.
vamp!langdon starter for @pittmash
~ It felt like the entire ED was staring at him. Like everyone was LOOKING. Watching. NOTICING. They weren't obviously. A sensible, sane, non-paranoid part of himself knew that. Knew that the eyes he felt on him were his own imagination.
A guilty conscious trying to manifest itself.
The weight of his backpack BURNED like a brand against his shoulder as me moved through the ED toward the exit, as if determined to not let him forget just WHY he was feeling that way. But fuck, he had tried so hard NOT to. Tried to ignore the aching hunger insistently s c r a t c h i n g at his insides. He could blame his body's autopilot for the blood bag his hands had slipped inside it....but Frank knew that it was more accurately WEAKNESS. A weakness to not be able to fight off this fucking URGE. This NEED he had no way to explain. Couldn't even explain it to himself.
So instead Frank offered an OFFHAND wave and a lopsided smile to those of the day shift that still lingered after their official day was over. Shoulders tight. Throwing on his cap and pulling it down slightly. Weaving through the patients and evening crew alike. Trying to stamp on the urge to flat out BOLT for the door and the night outside. ~

@pittmash is getting a starter
It's a bit strange to see her in red scrubs, or rather back in them. Regardless, she was a little bit pleased to be back in a place she was familiar with. They were familiar with her. Maybe it was why on her first locum shift back here she had been the resident saddled with the crash pager.
It had taken her a little by surprise, not the fact they were still using pagers, why change a system that still worked fine? No, the idea that the attending covering the urgent care department had decided that she was the most senior resident now.
She is working her way down the list of patients, it's more primary care now than anything but she doesn’t think it any less important. Mel calls the name on the next chart without thinking about it. “Abbot-” then the second she does so it is familiar. Her eyes flicker up, and there is a familiar face and a child? His child? Maybe?
Instead of jumping to conclusions, Mel offers a smile, professional mask on. “Hi, I can find you another doctor if that is more comfortable?” She would understand why, “though, you might be waiting a while, they are…understaffed.”
@pittmash asked: ❛ i should've known better than to think you'd stay. ❜
teeth grit the moment that the words leave Jack's lips, hands lifting to rest atop his head. he did not want to have this conversation. with anyone. but least of all with Jack. the back and forth was exhausting.
get out of here. go on a cruise.
i should've known better than to think you'd stay.
fingers pull harshly at his hair, trying to find something else to focus on than the raging emotions that were bubbling away in his chest. what did it matter? stay or leave. it wouldn't change anything. if he stayed this place was going to kill him. if he left... he was going to kill himself. the result would be the same no matter what happened.
"jesus, man. make up your fucking mind." the words leave him harsher than he meant them to. but god he was so fed up with everything. arms drop from his head, held out at his sides as he stares at Jack.
"stay. go. I'm fuckin' dead either way!"
