getting to the last episode of the pitt and having the whole cast of the most beautiful women on earth gradually change out of their hospital clothes & let their hair down... have you ever seen someone so beautiful you felt like crying...

love that the pitt is pulling a classic action movie plot device — automatic system failure leading to a mandatory switch to manual mode. fully lost it when they brought out the fax machine

if there's one thing that watching the pitt without subtitles is making abundantly clear, it's that i'm not actually that fluent in english. like whoops! i did not catch what that guy said. again

this is very naïve of me and absolutely reflects what kind of environment i grew up in, but i have never been able to wrap my head around the reality of a gun being fired, of someone firing a gun repeatedly, killing strangers indiscriminately, killing people, in the real world, in real life. it just doesn't compute. it's a thing that happens but that my head cannot process. the grief hits like a truck, the fact of death is very clear to me, a tangible & real thing. but a human being dying as the consequence of another human being picking up a gun, loading it, and making the conscious decision to pull the trigger, that just cannot live inside my head.

ah. mass shooting event in this medical drama about social issues. i did see it coming and i will cry about it.

i knew about the langdon drug addiction plotline & that made it a hundred times better because i got to watch santos get suspicious and then figure it out all while knowing she was right.

every time i start watching a new medical drama i go in entirely forgetting that A) i am someone who cries so much for so many reasons and B) there will be characters who die & lose loved ones & are in distress in many if not all of the episodes. and then i get dehydrated
