sigh. the crew at work is discussion shaving and depilatories. I hate our culture so much. I stopped shaving my pits again about a month ago. I’m waiting to be judged at work for it. Waiting for someone to say “ew, gross.” I don’t want to have to think about it at all. I shouldn’t have to. I like my pit kittens. Although admittedly, I probably like them largely because they make me feel defiant.

Hair
I was lying in bed this morning and my 3 year old son came in for a cuddle. Then he says to me "Mummy your hair is so pretty". He wasn't talking about the hair on my head. He was poking my armpit. I actually do shave my pits from time to time, or I let it grow from time to time whatever I feel like it doesn't measure as much of an issue in my life, so he has never heard anyone talk about or make it an issue. To him the word armpit never existed until today and now he has just learned the name of a new body part.. so his reaction "it's pretty". is an innocent genuine reaction not corrupted by social constructs. We have a lot to unlearn.
I tried to dye my armpits blue but they ended up green. You can't really tell. Oh well. They still cute
